Scope and content

Subseries represents collecting efforts toward documenting the inception and development of Apex Mountain Resort near Penticton, BC. Subseries exists in two conceptual domains: collected photographs primarily as 35mm slide transparencies (whether they are copies and/or location and status of extant originals is unknown by the archivist) and a collection of materials taken or copied from other published or unpublished sources, mainly in the form of newspaper clippings.
Some substantive textual documents are also included such as form letters to Apex members, reports, some financial statements. Also included is a collection of promotional brochures from the 1970s – 1990s
