File consists of five glass plate photographs depicting Chinese men, women, and children in Vancouver and Victoria. Some of the pictures feature groups of students with their teachers, while another (titled "Chinese Young People of Victoria Mission) depicts a group of men standing with children outside an unspecific building. Another plate (titled "Chinese Church & Session, Vancouver") features a group photo of five men superimposed above the image of a Presbyterian Church. Each plate is labelled either "Baptist Book Room - 223 Church St. - Toronto" or "Charles Potter - 16 Adelaide West - Toronto".
