History
Dorothy Beatrice Farris (nee Colledge) was born in Winnipeg in 1912. She moved to Vancouver in 1918, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia. In 1933 she married John Lauchlan Farris, and they had three children, Ann, Haig, and Katherine. She was a homemaker, and lived in Vancouver until her death in 2004.
