Reproduction of a Canadian Pacific Railway Company poster depicting passengers relaxing in a solarium car and advertising Canadian Pacific railway sleeping car passenger travel between Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, May 12 to September 28, 1929. Published for promotional purposes by the Cranbrook Railway Museum, promoting the exhibit at the VIA Rail Pavilion at the 1986 World's Fair.

This album consists of a file folder that held pictures mounted on card for the British Columbia Provincial Museum's 1985 exhibition titled The New Highway to the Orient : The Canadian Pacific in British Columbia, 1885-1985. An inscription: "To Wally with my sincere thanks, Bob" is on the inner right side of the folder with a picture of the builder's model of the C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Asia mounted on the folder's verso. The file folder was presented to Dr. W. B. Chung by the museum, curator Robert Turner, in acknowledgement of his assistance in the preparation of the exhibition. Included are two complimentary tickets to the exhibition.
