Mohl on letter from Versailles lady who was helping a wounded Insurge and the surrounding people did not want to give him any water. States that newly relocated persons in Versailles are homeless again.

Series consists of genealogical research and incoming and outgoing correspondence between Charles Humphries and family, friends, and colleagues.
The fonds consists of a copy of Pell's last will and testament, as well as one album containing photographs, prints, and crests collected by Pell documenting his travels in the 1870s. Many of the photographs are labelled by location, and place names include Aden, Alexandria, Batavia, Isle of Wight, Cairo, Hong Kong, Java, Marseilles, Naples, Rangoon, Singapore, and Suez. Also included in the collection is a page of crests of nobility, and two print portraits, one of Christine Nilsson and the other of Adelina Patti.

Diary of a journey to British Columbia
Pocket diary kept by Hector Langevin during a trip by rail and steamship via the United States to visit British Columbia. In 1871 as Minister of Public Works of Canada, Langevin was sent by the Federal Cabinet to visit British Columbia with the mission to acquire knowledge of the new province in relation to the Canadian Pacific Railway and possible location of its western terminus, and also to study the requirements of British Columbia for public works. Langevin's journey took him from central Canada to Chicago, then by the American Pacific Railway to San Francisco, where he embarked on the steamer Prince Alfred traveling to Victoria on Vancouver Island, and then to the mainland.

Last Will and Testament of William Losh, with codicil
Item is the Last Will and Testament of William Losh (1771-1861) as well as a codicil. Losh was a renowed industrialist, patriarch of the Boyd family, and grandfather to Alice Boyd. In these materials, Losh bequeaths his properties to his future generations. The codocil bears a note by Alice stating "Copied from my grandfather's will 2 Oct 1871." Documents are contained in an envelope labeled "Miss Boyd, Penkill Castle". The envelope is marked "From the Kelmscott Press, Upper Mall, Hammersmith."

Pamphlet containing the text of a Senate debate regarding the construction of the Pacific railway to British Columbia. Signed P. O'Reilly on the cover.

Indictment, by True Bill for Stabbing with Intent.
-Ah Sow is charged with Stabbing and Wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Verdict, not guilty, prisoner discharged.
Precept to Registrar to Set Cause Down for hearing; (3) Extract from the Record Precept Book of the Police Court, Victoria; Record.
The Defendant falsely and maliciously and without reasonable cause charged the Plaintiff with stealing a saw from him, value of $1.50. The Defendant also assaulted the Plaintiff, gave him into custody of a policeman and caused him to be imprisoned in a police office. The Plaintiff was injured in his reputation and was prevented from attending to his business as a result of the Defendant's actions and has also incurred expenses in obtaining his release from the said imprisonment. The Plaintiff claims $5,000 damages from the Defendant.
