History

Jack Pacey, born in West Summerland, B.C., worked at various mining and fishing jobs before he went to work for the newly-established Canadian Forest Product's Englewood Logging Division in the Nimpkish Valley in the northern portion of Vancouver Island. As part of his duties as a log grader, Pacey took photographs of the logging operations. He was also one of the founders of the Nimpkish Lake Photography Club.
