Biographical history
The Trades and Labour Council of Prince Rupert represented 2,000 workers in Prince Rupert in 1955 and was affiliated with other workers groups, such as the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Scope and content
The fonds consists of minutes of Council (1937-1947) and correspondence (1916-1930, 1942-1943) related to its activities. Also included are minutes and correspondence of the Prince Rupert Civic Employees Union No. 20 (1922-1923) and a scrapbook of clippings.
