Subseries consists predominantly of photographic record of the Similkameen Valley area with robust coverage of the dates 1900 to about 1940. Boundaries of Similkameen Valley area correspond with the basin of the river of the same name, including settlements such as Hedley, Keremeos, Princeton, Tulameen, Cawston, Coalmont. Materials relate to industry and infrastructure, particularly mining and agriculture, and the documentation of family life.
