This album which was assembled by Dr. W. B. Chung consists of photographs of the C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Russia and its service as an ocean liner, an armed merchant cruiser in the First World War and as a war transport ship in the Second World War. The album also includes a news clippings concerning the fire that destroyed the ship, a photograph of the ship on fire, and a photograph of the ship after the fire.

This album was assembled by Dr. W. B. Chung and consists of photographs, news clippings and other textual material related to the C.P. R.M.S. Empress steamships and their captains including photographs of Captains J. F. Patrick, J. W. Thomas, Lionel Dale Douglas, A. J. Holland, Samuel Robinson, Jay Goold among others.
