Radio broadcasts

Series consists of transcripts of political radio broadcasts made by Shepherd and others concerning issues such as agriculture, the economy, immigration and colonization, legislative politics, education, and the Co-operative Commonwealth Youth Movement.

Elections: financial records

Series consists of receipts, invoices, correspondence and other records relating to Shepherd's campaign expenses during the 1945 election. Series also includes some applications for membership in the British Columbia section of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation .

Series consists of notes and draft writings made by Shepherd on a variety of political issues and subjects.

Newspaper clippings

Series consists of newspaper clippings, both loose and in scrapbooks, collected by Shepherd. Includes clippings of articles pertaining to Shepherd's career, including clippings concerning his political campaigns and speeches given by him, clippings of his own columns, and subject clippings related to his various political interests. Includes many clippings pertaining to the B .C . Coast Vegetable Marketing Board.

The fonds consists of biographical material, correspondence (1928-1946), minutes, subject files, clippings and printed material pertaining to the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation in British Columbia. Amongst Shepherd's papers are those of his wife, Dorothy H. Shepherd, which relate to her work as an executive member of the South Westminster CCF Women's Club (1942-1959).

Includes a memorandum on CCF agricultural policy, 1943, and a 1941 campaign brochure for Shepherd outlining the CCF program.

Series consists of material related to the CCF provincial election campaigns and platforms of 1945 and 1952, and Shepherd's participation in the 1945 election, including material outlining his own platform.

Series consists of reports, resolutions, and nominations related to the provincial conventions of the British Columbia section of the CCF in 1939, 1944, 1953, and 1957.
