Diary of Captain W.H. Porter

A diary kept from 1904 to 1917 by W. H. Porter, a captain with the B.C.C.S.S. The diary includes several carbon copies of letters from Porter. The diary also includes annotations by Dr. W. B. Chung regarding the diary, inside front cover, and is accompanied by a typed transcription made in the 1980s.

Pamphlet-form timetables for passenger trains produced by the Canadian Pacific Railway Company. Most pamphlets say Folder A, indicating they provide information for both eastern and western lines. Folder B is for the east, and Folder C is for the west. File includes timetables for the following dates: 17 Aug. 1930, 11 Jan. 1931, 18 May 1930, 26 Sept. 1937, 25 Sept. 1938, 15 Jun. 1938, 5 Feb. 1939, and a freight schedule issued 4 Oct. 1937. Includes a receipt to Dr. W. B. Chung from Bjarne's Books in Edmonton relating to the purchase of some of these pamphlets, circa 1985. Also includes Folder C timetables from 25 Sept. 1932, 26 Sept. 1937, and 24 Apr. 1938, and a Folder B timetable for 15 Aug. 1934.
