Franky Selvie, while fishing for bait for cod right off Fanny Bay Wharf got 18 mild cure. Fisheries officer made him throw them back.
1924 - tending for George Stevens, (one boat) ran 280 springs into camp
555 jacksprings that didn't go the weight (4 man seine) from 4 sets - traded George for apples.
