A photo album with hand-written notes documenting the life and travel of Maud Bauer of Vancouver; in particular a trip with her Mother in 1903. Album of personal photographs documenting a family trip to Texas. On the cover is a colour image of oxen pulling a cart, with the pre-printed title "Our Trip". In the inside front cover is hand-written "My trip, with brother Ernest & Marion and Patsy. July & Aug. 1953, to Texas". The leather album is still in good shape, though some of the photos are fading and warping.

The album documents the construction of the so-called ‘Big Bend’ Highway (West Leg) north of Revelstoke, B.C., now a part of Highway 23, between 1934 and 1936. The photos consist of scenery along the way, work being completed, machinery, bridges, landslides, workers camps, and photos of F.W. Anderson and other workers, as well as photos of two separate car accidents, and of a ‘snow slide’ at Clanwilliam Camp, and of the ‘West Coast Trail’ on Vancouver Island. After the bulk of the photos there is a blank page and then a new grouping of images with a title page that reads: “Odd Snaps Collected by F.W.A. While Foreman & Asst. Engr. Group F. D.N.D.-U.E.R. Big Bend Highway Group H.Q. at Revelstoke B.C. Sept 20/34 to Mar 20/35”.

An album of photographs depicting the construction of a train tunnel in North Vancouver in 1928, as well as what seems to be the grand opening. It also includes some plans for the route and a drawing of a streetcar. The names Frith, H.W. (Chief Engineer) & Anderson, F.W. (Resident Engineer) appear on the cover.

The images depict scenes throughout Canada, with an emphasis on Quebec. The album is in excellent shape, though many of the snapshots are badly faded.

An album of photographs taken by an unknown photographer, believed to be of their family and travels. Also included are some additional photographs, postcards, and a typed text of a speech on the subject of female suffrage that was delivered in Seattle. The location where most of the photographs were taken is unknown, but appear to be throughout the United States and Canada, with a few depicting Quesnel, British Columbia, which may have been home to the family. The slim album and the photographs are in good condition.

A family album put together by Bob MacLachlan. The family moved from Edinburgh, Scotland to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and then finally to Vancouver, British Columbia. The photos encompass all of these locations. It is predominantly photos of the family, but there are also drawings, cards, and newsclippings, as well as other ephemera pasted in.

Laura Glenn was a chairman of the Canadian Red Cross Corps in Windsor, Ontario, and also a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. This album covers much of her life, though predominantly between 1940 and 1950 during her time throughout Europe. There are also a number of family photographs from later years. The album has photos glued in and they are almost all captioned and dated, with many personal names and even some addresses of the individuals pictured or where they were taken. There is also an envelope of additional photos and ephemera, these ones focusing more on her personal life and family. It includes birth announcements, Christmas cards, etc. The album and photos are in quite good shape, though the pages are brittle paper and many have been torn.

A personal photo album kept by Clara and/or Kitty Wilson of Vancouver. Mainly portraits of the two sisters and their friends and family, plus some shots in and around Vancouver and British Columbia, including photographs of the Vancouver Pier 'D' Fire of 1938. Very few of the images are captioned. There are also a couple of postcards, and at least one negative included. The album and photographs are in great shape. Photo album documenting sisters Clara and Kitty Wilson’s ten annual cycling trips taken throughout British Columbia in July and/or August of 1938 through 1947. The first seven trips were on Vancouver Island, the eighth in the Okanagan, and the ninth and tenth in the Cariboo region. The photos are thoroughly captioned and still in good shape. Also included are the letters and postcards they sent home during the trips (half of each card written by each sister), as well as newspaper clippings, business cards, a menu from BC Coast Steamships, a telegram, and a negative. There are also 25 hand-drawn cartoons highlighting some of their adventures. They nicknamed their bikes Rastus and Ginger, and also use a variety of pet names when signing their letters and referring to family members. The album is in decent shape though the pages are flaking at the edges. See also UL_1596 for a family photo album kept by the sisters.

A photo album from a man named Robert Sinclair. The photos are predominantly of family snapshots, and images from around their rural home in British Columbia. There are also some of farming and logging, and a few of different cities and locales throughout British Columbia. Some of the photos are captioned, but none are dated. The album is secured with a metal clasp and is in quite good condition, as are the photographs.

A printed and bound book about the early days of Vancouver with a number of photos and illustrations. It includes information about a number of prominent businesses, buildings, and individuals. The cover and binding are degrading, but the text and images are still in good shape. Tucked inside is a piece of phone listings torn off and presumably used as a bookmark.

A book about Vancouver, designed as a souvenir and an “example of the art of printing”. This volume is labelled book 321 out of a presumably limited number. There is a short introduction, and then there are the large photographs from throughout Greater Vancouver with captions.

A photo album, with a few loose images tucked in, believed to be kept by a sailor in the navy, likely stationed in Comox or Esquimalt, British Columbia. It includes a number of images from around the world including many of ships and navy crew. Also a few images of an apparent train journey in the Canadian Rockies. Some of the locations are unknown. The album is missing its back cover and only small portions are still bound together at the spine.

A large album of photographs with images from Eastern Canada and the United States, as well as a few from the United Kingdom. The spine of the album is quite worn, but is in otherwise fairly decent condition.

The album and the images are in very good condition.
