British Columbia Loggers Association.

Sous-fonds reflects the functions and activities of the British Columbia Loggers Association. The sous-fonds consists of committee records, the association’s by-laws and constitution, financial records including audited financial statements, deposits and disbursements made by the association, minutes from several different meeting groups including directors meetings, executive council of B.C. Loggers Association meeting minutes, finance management meeting minutes, and general meeting minutes, reports generated by the B.C. Loggers association and various statistics.
The sous-fonds has been divided into seven series based on the association’s different functions: by-laws and constitution, circulars, committees, financial records, minutes reports, and statistics.

British Columbia Loggers Association.

Directors meetings.

Sub-series contains meeting minutes from the British Columbia Loggers Association Directors committee. Materials consists of ledger books with meeting minutes pasted inside, which document the core functions and forestry, more specifically logging, related issues, their follow-up and consultation with other interested organizations. Also included are meeting minutes that discuss the Association’s finances, reports from various organizations including the Council of Forest Industries, and a discussion of topics including Timber Land Assessment procedures, stumpages, publicity, and forest fire protection.

General meetings.

Material consists of meeting minutes, details concerning the grading of cedar logs, the incorporation of the association, new rules and procedures for committees, committee reports, the approval of meeting minutes, and reports on the auditing of the B.C. Loggers Association’s accounts.

The Nimpkish Forest.

Map depicts different sections of the Nimpkish Forest including burned areas, logged areas, immature timber, water and swamp areas, and mature timber. There are four inset maps also present. Also featured on the map are the Broughton Strait and the Johnstone Strait.

British Columbia Lumber Manufacturers Association sous-fonds.

Sous-fonds contains records that document the organization, function and activities of the British Columbia Lumber Manufacturers Association. Materials in the sous-fonds consist of administrative records including letterheads, general plans and organization of the association, agreements, organization produced briefs, the association’s bulletins, by-laws, declarations, certificates and constitution relating to the founding of the association and its functions, inquires, circulars, correspondence, directories, financial records, records on the cooperation between BCLMA and other organizations, Forest Products Laboratory records, general lists, meeting minutes, publicity records, records relating to various projects conducted by the BCLMA, reports, statistics, and the associations Timber Extension Overseas files.
The sous-fonds is divided into nineteen series.

British Columbia Lumber Manufacturers Association

Addresses and speeches.

Series contains speeches and addresses related to the British Columbia Lumber Manufacturers Association. Material consists of an address given by Mr. M.G. Robson to the Bankers Lecture Club of B.C. on Marketing Problems of the Lumber Industry of British Columbia, an address by H.R. MacMillan to the Vancouver Board of Trade, an address by J.H. McDonald on the work of the Lumber and shingle Manufacturers Association in British Columbia, a radio address on CKMO on the lumber industry in the world market, and a broadcast on the lumber industry during the depression.

Briefs.

Series contains briefs relating to the British Columbia Lumber Manufacturers Association. Material consists of briefs on the pulp industry in British Columbia, Canadian freight rates, and customs tariff on lumber between the United States and Canada.
