Correspondence and memorandum.

Series contains memoranda and correspondence relating to the Council of Forest Industries. Material consists of correspondence with the Honourable Jean-Luc Pepin, correspondence concerning the cost of promoting forestry overseas, memos concerning the United States legislative process, correspondence of the Cooperative Overseas Promotion, correspondence and memoranda regarding the Future History Project and correspondence regarding Canadian lumber dispute, correspondence regarding Mike Aspey’s participation at Meech Lake, correspondence and memos with the Shingle and Handsplit Shake Bureau, correspondence regarding the proper packaging and labelling of shingle and shakes, correspondence and examples of shingle company shipping labels, memos and correspondence with Arnold Porter and COFI regarding the Shingle and Shakes inquiry, correspondence concerning overseas market development and missions with foreign countries, and N.R. Dustings personal correspondences.
Photographs are of different structures located in areas of Pago Pago including The Tusitala Hotel in Western Samoa, a new hotel under construction in Pago Pago, the Painnaber Hotel, a church, and the Convention Centre.

Series contains briefs relating to the British Columbia Lumber Manufacturers Association. Material consists of briefs on the pulp industry in British Columbia, Canadian freight rates, and customs tariff on lumber between the United States and Canada.

Forest Products Laboratories.

Series contains records relating to the British Columbia Lumber Manufacturers Association’s Forest Products Laboratories. Material consists of project and research reports, correspondence, and newsletters outlines the Forest Products Laboratories’ projects for the upcoming months.

Agreements.

Series contains trade agreements and agreements between associations and companies with the Consolidated Red Cedar and Shingle Association of British Columbia. The material consists of correspondence and memoranda regarding the trade agreements with the United States, duty and quota of Red Cedar Shingles on the market, revisions to the trade agreement, the association’s by-laws and the Companies Act for the Red Cedar Shingle Export Association.

The Nimpkish Forest.

Map depicts different sections of the Nimpkish Forest including burned areas, logged areas, immature timber, water and swamp areas, and mature timber. There are four inset maps also present. Also featured on the map are the Broughton Strait and the Johnstone Strait.

Addresses and speeches.

Series contains speeches and addresses related to the British Columbia Lumber Manufacturers Association. Material consists of an address given by Mr. M.G. Robson to the Bankers Lecture Club of B.C. on Marketing Problems of the Lumber Industry of British Columbia, an address by H.R. MacMillan to the Vancouver Board of Trade, an address by J.H. McDonald on the work of the Lumber and shingle Manufacturers Association in British Columbia, a radio address on CKMO on the lumber industry in the world market, and a broadcast on the lumber industry during the depression.
