The fonds consists of material from the British Columbia Lawn Bowling Association, the British Columbia Ladies Lawn Bowling Association (and its predecessor the Dogwood Lawn Bowling Association), and the Ladies' Lawn Bowling Association of British Columbia. The records include correspondence, minutes, financial records, constitutions and bylaws, reports, lists, memoranda, publications, and a photograph. Although the bulk of the records document the period 1977 to 1997, there are also minutes of the Ladies' Lawn Bowling Association of B.C. for the period 1924 to 1973.

The fonds consists of an incomplete set of convention minutes and proceedings (1927-1959), scrapbooks of clippings from 1963, campaign literature, files from Cam Avery including material relating to the development of various Liberal policies, files from Pat McGeer pertaining to his tenure as party leader, papers reflecting election coverage in each riding for certain years and press clippings relating to the political careers of several Liberal MP's from 1969 to 1972.

The fonds consists of records generated by British Columbia Packers Limited, its predecessor bodies, and individual canneries and plants owned by the company. In addition to financial records, it includes plant appraisements for various canneries and properties owned by B.C. Packers Ltd., as well as Canadian Fish and Cold Storage Company Ltd., Coast Oyster Company, Edmunds and Walker Ltd., J.H. Todd and Sons Limited, Nelson Bros. Fisheries Ltd., Nelbro Packing Co., Queen Charlotte Canners Ltd., Rupert Fish Co. Incorporated and Western Canada Whaling Company Ltd. Those canneries and properties include Alert Bay Cannery, Bella Bella Cannery, Boswell Cannery, Celtic Shipyards, Imperial Plant, Kildonan, Klemtu, Ladner Cannery, Masset, Namu Cannery, New Westminster Cannery, Paramount Cannery, Port Edward Cannery, Prince Rupert Plant, Quathiaski Plant, Richmond Plant, and St. Mungo Cannery. In addition, the fonds consists of fifty printer's blocks for producing lithograph salmon tin labels and approximately 100 plastic cards used for advertising fish products. Also included are miscellaneous items such as the Roll of Honour of the B.C. Canning Company listing men in service during World War I, Fraser River charts (ca. 1929-1947), a sample of receipts for tram passes to B.C., and a framed sheet describing the history of the Bella Coola camp.

The fonds consists of office files, log books, minutes, posters and buttons. The office files consist mainly of correspondence, including that with the Canadian Peace Congress and the World Peace Council, and printed material. Some of the correspondence include the Pacific National Exhibition.

The fonds consists of materials relating to the work of projectionists, theatre management and safety. Fonds includes newspaper clippings and audio cassettes of interviews with retired union members conducted in 1988.

The collection consists of subject files including photocopied and manuscript notes and sources, correspondence, research data, computer printout and input material, reports, financial records, and photographs relalting to the Royal Commission on B.C. Railway (1977).

The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, financial records, and printed material relating to its activities (1952-1960), as well as minutes of meetings (1952-1955) and notices of meetings (1954-1955).

The fonds consists of the records of the B.C. chapter of the Voice of Women (1960-1978) and local chapters (Powell River, Vancouver, North Vancouver, and West Vancouver branches) include subject files, correspondence, minutes, scrapbooks, newsletters, conference proceedings, press clippings, president's papers, and financial reports reflecting the organization's involvement with disarmament, human rights issues, ecology and politics.

The fonds consists of the records of the B.C. Youth Parliament dating from its first session in 1924. It includes journals of the House, correspondence relating to sessions and group activities, membership lists, reports, press clippings, press releases, records relating to playground development in urban housing complexes, records reflecting the administration and operations of the Parliament, and photographs.

The fonds consists of the records of the Brunswick Cannery located at Canoe Pass (1900-1928). It consists of financial records, most notably invoices and receipts from various merchants in the area of the cannery. These records provide some information about the goods and services required by the early canneries and also indicate the costs of such items. The fonds also includes some material from the Anglo-American Cannery Company (1896-1913).
