Design mock-ups

File contains a variety of design mock-ups for projects on topics including T.J Lyons, Robert Reid's personal stationary, business cards and golf. At the time of accession, all items were stored together in a large envelope.

Printed material

File contains printed material with designer credit often cited as belonging to Reid. Various printers include Graphos, Evergreen Press Limited and Grant-Mann Lithographers. Material includes pamphlets, business cards, Johnson Reprint Corporation book, the Council of Energy futures book, large posters, sample book covers and some personal correspondence.

Printed posters

File contains a number of posters exhibition a variety of printing styles and paper types.

General files

The General files subseries contains promotional and marketing materials for Harbour Publishing as a company, such as seasonal marketing plans, as well as files that contain records for multiple authors and publications, such as awards applications. Some notebooks and planners from former managing editor Mary Schendlinger are also included.

Tagish

Records related to the inclusion of the Tagish language inscription on the Canadian Tribute to Human Rights monument.

Irving Guttman collection

The Irving Guttman Collection is a large collection of photographs of different people and places in the opera world. There are two different parts of this photographic collection: The first part of the collection includes pictures of Mr. Guttman directing and coaching opera performers, or posing with opera enthusiasts from across the globe. A large bulk of these first photographs are of Mr. Guttman's production of the operas, Norma, Tosca, Traviatta, and Aida. However, other operas such as Madam Butterfly, Daughter of the Regiment, Othello, Carmen and more are included in the Collection.

The second part of the collection consists of autographed portraits of opera performers, and other operatic stakeholders. The list of operatic singers, conductors, composers and directors, includes but is not limited to: Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Leonard Bernstein, Joan Sutherland, Cristina Deutekom, Montserrat Caballé, John Alexander, Tracy Dahl, Marilyn Horne, Linda Roark-Strummer, Huguette Tourangeau, Renata Tebaldi, Clarice Carson, Regina Resnik, Mary Costa, Irene Salemka, Cecilia Bartoli, Judith Forst, Ermanno Mauro, and Sylvia Sass.

Lastly, there is a collection of congratulatory letters to Mr. Guttman for his 25th anniversary as artistic director of the Edmonton Opera.

Research Notes

The Research Notes series includes material compiled by Devitt for presentations and reports delivered at meetings such as the Public Policy National Resources Conferences in 1981 and on a more regular basis at the annual meetings of the Association of BC Professional Foresters. News clipping citing Devitt and/or offering a general overview of work he has conducted also figure in this series.

File contains items kept in frames by Positive Women's Network including informational sign about memorial book, 2007 Accolaid certificate, certificate from Annual BC Aboriginal HIV/AIDS Conference, and copies of student artwork from body-mapping workshop.

Stamp collection and related records

The Stamp Collection and Related Records series consists of philatelic records and catalogues, correspondence, price lists, and publications. Also included in the series are records related to postal history in general, particularly that of British Columbia.

[Management and Administrative Records]

Series consists of minutes and agendas, fundraising records, legal documents, committee information, and general correspondence related to the managerial and administrative duties of Pro-CAN. Legal documents include those dealing with lawsuits, injunctions, and Freedom of Information requests. General correspondence is limited to letters and emails to and from the organization as well as letters of support. For hate mail, see series titled "Safety and Security."
