Collectively, these records reflect Quastelʹs various scientific roles as researcher, professor, author, and public speaker. Correspondence is primarily between Kanchenjunga Press and various libraries (public and university), printers, book reviewers (including the New York Times Book Review), and booksellers. Administrative records are primarily planning documents, project files including Reading Tour 1974-1975, and ISBN logging records. Financial records include banking records for Canada and the US, invoices, and receipts.

Karl Terzaghi Research Collection

Ripley, this research collection includes three series relating to Terzaghi including; biographical materials, publications and professional reports. The reports series includes information about the British Columbia projects with which Terzaghi was involved. The research collection also includes copies of publications by Ralph B. Peck and J.D. Mollard.

Fonds consists of Emery's photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings, identification cards and ephemera. The records document Emery's service as a nurse during World-War Two, as well as her experiences of World-War One, and her life and career as a nurse in Vancouver and New Brunswick.
The fonds is comprised of two series; Nursing Records and Personal Records.
The Nursing Records series includes a photograph album captioned in detail by Emery covering her year of service overseas from 1944 to 1945, as well as immigration documents, certificates, and correspondence related to her nursing career.
The Personal Records series is comprised of correspondence with friends and family, as well as photographs of Emery, her family, and acquaintances.

Kathleen Gough fonds

The fonds consists of material related to Kathleen Gough's research activities. It includes the notes of her Ph.D. fieldwork in Kerala, India, 1947-1949 and her return in 1964, and those from her primary fieldwork in the Tanjore District of Southeast India in 1950-1953, then again in 1974. These consist primarily of field notes and other notes made during and after those trips. At the same time, much of the material can be found under the "Kerala" (1947-1949, 1964) or "Tanjore District (1950- 1953/1976)" series. Similar and related material can also be located under the "Miscellaneous" and "Lectures and other Notes" series headings. The fonds also includes several maps of various locations in Southeast India and several genealogies. Finally, the fonds also includes several manuscripts of Gough's numerous essays and the complete manuscript of her last book, Political Economy in Vietnam (1990).
