The fonds includes: drafts of Coupland’s major literary works, personal and artistic photographs, visual art material (such as collages, paintings, printouts of digital collages and sculpture maquettes), items of clothing and leather goods, technical notes and designs for Coupland’s website, conceptual sketches and designs, correspondence, and other records.

The fonds consists of records chronicling the growth of socialism in Canada and the formation and history of the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation and the New Democratic Party, as well as with various aspects of the issues of human rights and of peace and disarmament. There is also autobiographical material and records pertaining to Unitarianism.

The fonds consists of journals, worksheets, photographs, correspondence, and printed material, including exhibition catalogues reflecting Doris Shadbolt's research and publishing activities into the life and works of Emily Carr. The final accrual in 2010 contains further documentation related to her activities as a writer and researcher, curator of the Vancouver Art Gallery, active participant in the local, national and international artistic community, lecture and guest speaker. The fonds includes correspondences, notebooks, calendars, lecture and speaking notes, research notes, articles and other collected materials related to Shadbolt's independent research on a variety of topics related to local, national and international art and artists, annotated books, photographs and sound recordings.

The fonds consists of correspondence, subject files, reports, memoranda, documents, newsletters, newspaper articles, pamphlets, letters and photographs relating to the activities of the British Columbia Liberal Party at both the provincial and federal levels and concerning the provincial riding of Vancouver-Point Grey and the federal riding of Vancouver-Quadra.
Although her papers document both B.C . and Federal Liberal Parties, the
majority of files deal with the B .C. Liberal Party.

The fonds consists of documents, log books, stock certificates, record books, newspaper articles, pamphlets, canned fish labels, and photographs from Canadian Fishing Company Limited, Gulf of Georgia Canning Company Limited, Manitou Cannery, and the New England Fish Company Limited. In addition, there are subject files, reports and briefs relating to Donovan Miller's activities in the fishing industry.

The collection consists of letters signed by prominent historical figures including Napoleon I, Winston Churchill, Benjamin Disraeli, John Jellicoe, Robert Peel, William Pitt, August-Norbert Morin, and the Duke of Wellington.

The Exhibit Archive consists of the evidence submitted by 51 Plaintiffs regarding the land claim area, and materials submitted by the Defense relating to the underlying title of the Crown to these lands. Textual records include correspondence, by-laws, land titles and drafts, research documents, affidavits, cross-examination transcripts, legal documents and reports, published material, genealogy charts, collections of sacred oral traditions, copies of records from the Hudson’s Bay Company and early settlers, written accounts of oral histories, trap-line data, expert testimonies of anthropologists, historians, linguists, biologists, and archaeologists, including all the background materials used by lawyers in the case. Other non-textual materials include maps and overlays, photographs, sound recordings of oral histories and songs, and audio-visual materials.

The fonds consists of records generated and assembled by David Watmough related to his life and career as a novelist, short story writer, playwright, monodramatist and performer, poet, critic, broadcaster, journalist, and teacher. The fonds includes series of records arranged in twenty divisions, with the greatest portion related to writing and literary production: novels, short stories, plays and dramas, monodramas, poetry and songs, nonfiction books, diaries and journals, essays, collections and anthologies, recordings, reading scripts and performance files, radio and television broadcast scripts and project files, film scripts, lectures, addresses, and orations, journal articles, interviews, and reviews of books, exhibitions and theatre performances, as well as correspondence, finance and business files, subject files including published material about Watmough and copies of published material by him, and ephemera and miscellanea. The arrangement of records in files by the creator has been respected where such order exists. The fonds contains textual records, both manuscript and typewritten as well as computer generated, some printed, published material, an occasional sketch or drawing, several sound recordings of Watmough performing, a small number of electronic records, and a number of photoprints and slides kept with the original files where possible. Some monodramas have been retained in the original bindings provided for performance by the creator.

The fonds includes records of the International Military Tribunal for the Far East (1946-47). It includes trial transcripts, biographical information on defendants, prosecution evidence, and copies of contemporary news accounts and interpretations of the trials. Research notes including printed materials, photographs, ephemera, and interview transcripts used for the writing of hundreds of short articles, news programmes, and full-length books (manuscripts also included in the collection), correspondence, and radio programme transcripts reflect Conde's integral involvement in Asian foreign affairs.

The fonds consists of Littlebury's photograph albums, containing views of ships, locomotives, railway stations and parks and gardens.

The fonds consists of the records of the B.C. Youth Parliament dating from its first session in 1924. It includes journals of the House, correspondence relating to sessions and group activities, membership lists, reports, press clippings, press releases, records relating to playground development in urban housing complexes, records reflecting the administration and operations of the Parliament, and photographs.

Packers Ltd., as well as Canadian Fish and Cold Storage Company Ltd., Coast Oyster Company, Edmunds and Walker Ltd., J.H. Todd and Sons Limited, Nelson Bros. Fisheries Ltd., Nelbro Packing Co., Queen Charlotte Canners Ltd., Rupert Fish Co. Incorporated and Western Canada Whaling Company Ltd. Those canneries and properties include Alert Bay Cannery, Bella Bella Cannery, Boswell Cannery, Celtic Shipyards, Imperial Plant, Kildonan, Klemtu, Ladner Cannery, Masset, Namu Cannery, New Westminster Cannery, Paramount Cannery, Port Edward Cannery, Prince Rupert Plant, Quathiaski Plant, Richmond Plant, and St. Mungo Cannery. In addition, the fonds consists of fifty printer's blocks for producing lithograph salmon tin labels and approximately 100 plastic cards used for advertising fish products. Also included are miscellaneous items such as the Roll of Honour of the B.C. Canning Company listing men in service during World War I, Fraser River charts (ca. 1929-1947), a sample of receipts for tram passes to B.C., and a framed sheet describing the history of the Bella Coola camp.

The fonds consists of an incomplete set of convention minutes and proceedings (1927-1959), scrapbooks of clippings from 1963, campaign literature, files from Cam Avery including material relating to the development of various Liberal policies, files from Pat McGeer pertaining to his tenure as party leader, papers reflecting election coverage in each riding for certain years and press clippings relating to the political careers of several Liberal MP's from 1969 to 1972.

The fonds consists of material from the British Columbia Lawn Bowling Association, the British Columbia Ladies Lawn Bowling Association (and its predecessor the Dogwood Lawn Bowling Association), and the Ladies' Lawn Bowling Association of British Columbia. The records include correspondence, minutes, financial records, constitutions and bylaws, reports, lists, memoranda, publications, and a photograph. Although the bulk of the records document the period 1977 to 1997, there are also minutes of the Ladies' Lawn Bowling Association of B.C. for the period 1924 to 1973.

The fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, and printed material relating to the activities of the British Columbia Home Economics Association and its predecessor, the Vancouver and District Home Economics Association (1958-1972).

The collection consists of ninety-one albums of postcards and photographs pertaining to views and scenes mainly in British Columbia, but also including Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and the Yukon as well as Europe. The views of British Columbia include views of the Rocky Mountains, Vancouver, Victoria, Mayne Island, and Buttle Lake (pre-1911) as well as those of logging (Capilano Timber Co., 1917-1920), mining (Granby Consolidated Mining, Smelting and Power Co. and Consolidated Cariboo Hydraulic Mining Co.) railways (Canadian Pacific Railway, Grand Trunk Pacific Railway, Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway, and Great Northern Railway) and shipping. In addition, there are postcards and photographs of the Hudson's Bay Company Kamchatka Venture, 1921, U.S. Civil War portraits and New Zealand shipping.

The fonds consists of records created and received by the B.C. Government Agent at 150 Mile House in the Cariboo region of the province. Fonds includes correspondence, tax assessment book, telegram originals, and postal receipts.

The fonds consists of research files compiled during the writing of Paul Phillip's No Power Greater: A Century of Labour in British Columbia, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, political education material, history questionnaires and minutes of the Federation and affiliated associations. Five subsequent accessions have resulted in the deposit of office files, financial records, briefs, convention proceedings, speeches, memoranda, photographs and sound recordings reflecting the wide scope of activity and interest pursued by the Federation.

The collection consists of photocopied briefs from groups or individuals desiring to appear before the Provincial Cabinet (1952-1967). They are arranged chronologically by "delegates heard" and "delegates not heard".

The fonds consists principally of bound and filed correspondence of the Company (1896-1914), early minute books and accounting records of the BCER and related companies. Also included is a valuable collection of maps, diagrams, and engineering and architectural plans.
