File consists of a single letter from Dante Gabriel Rossetti to Lucy Madox Brown Rossetti (daughter of Ford Madox Brown and wife of William Michael Rossetti), regarding a recent poem he sent her called "The White Ship." Dante asks Lucy to tell her father not to share the poem with anyone else, since parts of it might be considered plagiarism. It was published a year later in his book "Ballads and Sonnets."

File consists of one document: Affidavit of T. Davies regarding the settlement ordered by a previous judgment for money owed from the Defendants to the Plaintiffs for $164.45. The Defendants did not intend to pay the debt.
File consists of one document: Certificate of Registrar of Titles regarding the southern half of Lot. No. 169 in Victoria. J. Bigne is applying to be the registered owner
Richards et al v. Killican and Elford
File consists of one document: Affidavit of C.E. Pooley. Plaintiffs had recovered a judgment against the Defendants. The Defendants had then paid the $130.22 settlement to the Bailiff who then refused to pay the money into court for some reason.
File consists of 4 documents: Bill of Complaint; Answers of J. Loewen; Answers; Answers of L. Erb. The Plaintiff purchased the interest of J. Jungermann, jeweler, and with such purchase he assumed a debt of $1,900 due to the Defendants. The Plaintiff also took out a life insurance policy for $3,000 and offered this to the Defendants as security on his debt with them. Debts were renegotiated, the Plaintiff fell ill, and the Defendants then refused to return or reassign the life insurance policy back to the Plaintiff.
T. Earle is owed money by Drout for goods sold and delivered.
Earle believed that Drout had fled Victoria to escape his creditors. Includes affidavit of Earle.
