In order to facilitate primary research, University of British Columbia Library acquire archival materials in all media, including textual paper records, photographs, audiovisual recordings, maps, plans, artwork, selected published materials, and electronic records. Rare Books and Special Collections (RBSC) at UBC-Vancouver strives to document the economic, political, cultural, labour, and literary history of British Columbia and Canada. The University of British Columbia Archives (UA), also based at UBC-Vancouver, serves as the University’s corporate memory by identifying, preserving, and making available for use its permanently valuable institutional and associated private records. UBC-Okanagan Special Collections and Archives (OSC) strives to offer access to materials created in and about the Okanagan-Similkameen, Columbia-Shuswap, and the Kootenays
