General note

The Comox Logging and Railway Company was created on Vancouver Island by the Canadian Western Lumber Company to provide it with a supply of logs. It was incorporated under the “British Columbia Special Act” on March 10, 1910. Shares in the Company were held by the Canadian Western Lumber Company and the Fraser Mills Sash, Door and Shingle Company.
