The fonds consists of a diary of Royce's activities at Christina Lake (1934-1943), including some financial accounts and weather reports for the winters of 1935/36 and 1936/37. The diary also lists the names of many families in the area.

Their status as a family of lawyers and educated individuals often allowed them the opportunity to travel and attend noted events such as the Royal Ascot Racecourse, and encounter several distinguished individuals, such as Prime Ministers Louis St. Laurent and Pierre Trudeau, Lieutenant Governor Walter Owen, and Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The collection consists chiefly of correspondence, photographs, matters of estate, family history, notebooks, manuscripts, legal memorabilia, and family memorabilia of John Wallace de Beque Farris, Evlyn Keirstad Farris, John Lauchlan Farris, and Dorothy Farris.

The fonds consists of material arranged in three series: 1) Reviews, programmes, and correspondence concerning the career of Frances Adaskin; 2) Assorted writing by Frances Adaskin; and 3) Audio Tapes.

This fonds consists mainly of records assembled by McPherson over the course of his professional career. Material documenting McPhersons wartime activities predominates. The fonds contains two sous-fonds. One of these includes a scrapbook and from McPhersons father, Ewan. The other contains research, correspondence and interviews conducted by Kay Alsop in the mid 1990s. Alsop, a prominent Vancouver journalist, intended to write a biography of McPherson but was never able to find a publisher for the book. Alsop therefore decided to donate some of her research files as part of the McPherson fonds. The Alsop Sous-Fonds contains important records which McPherson had given to her, particularly those documenting the decision to intern Japanese-Canadians.

Audio-visual materials consist of two films on three 16 mm film reels on the subject of World War II and Japanese culture.

This fonds consists of documents, archival records, photographs, ephemera, and artifacts pertaining to the life and work of Hanne Wassermann Walker. These materials relate to several broad themes: health and fitness, travel, friends and family, immigration to North America, and art/photography. Hanne's collection provides a window into the early 20th century physical culture movement; the experience of Jewish Europeans in the lead-up to, during, and after World War II; and the landscapes of British Columbia between the 1940s and 1970s. It includes the manuscripts for his autobiographies, correspondence, scripts for radio broadcasts and lectures, newspaper clippings, and concert programmes, photographs, films, and audio recordings. Also included are annotated copies of Adaskin's two autobiographies: A Fiddler's World (published in 1977), and A Fiddler's Choice (1982). Some outside correspondence addressed to his wife Frances after his death is also included. The IABC fonds reflects the community collecting practices that the IABC undertook to preserve the history of Icelanders in British Columbia. Fonds is arranged in eight subfonds that reflect the various community organizations from which the archives originally collected.

Fonds illustrates James R. Stanton’s personal life and guiding business in Knight Inlet, British Columbia. It consists of an unpublished biography written by Stanton (including a foreword by R.M.
