The fonds consists of field notebooks, reference materials and a forestry report written by Marchant. Of particular note to UBC is Marchant’s research in the summer of 1979 on the botany of the cliffs at Point Grey.

Fonds consists of 10 volumes of purchase requisitions from 1954 to 1958, and a central office correspondence series from 1955 to 1965. The correspondence is informally arranged within a classification system that was inconsistently applied and developed until 1964. Two reference sheets for the subject classification system remain for 1956 and 1963 and are included in the first file for each of those two years. Many of the headings reflect the categories used by the Department of Agronomy. Intermingled with the files of the division are some of the faculty papers of V.C. Brink, the chair of the division. In 1964, the entire system appears to have broken down. From 1964 to 1970 all the division correspondence files were stored in unlabelled file folders the vast majority of which exhibited no internal coherence. Because of the presence of Brink's faculty papers in the files, and because of the absence of the division's classification system, the records from 1964 to 1970 have been arranged and described with Brink's personal papers. For a complete understanding of the functions and activities of the division, these records must also be consulted.

Fonds consists of textual and photographic materials primarily related to Copp's academic career and research, although a small number of personal records are included. The fonds consists of miscellaneous files from George Pickard's office (1949-1974), including records from the Canadian Committee on Oceanography (1960-1972). The bulk of the records are composed of departmental files including correspondence, grant material, and financial records. There is also a comprehensive set of oceanographic log sheets containing data collected between 1951 and 1978.

The fonds consists of alphabetically arranged subject files from the IIPS Office. Other material includes reports and publications growing out of the project.

Fonds consists of records documenting Philip Reid's activities as a professor and researcher from 1979 to 1993. Series include biographical information (1980-1990); correspondence (1977-1994); program development and course material (1978-1993); research, notes, and data (1959-1989); unpublished materials (1975-1992); and published material (1973-1993).

The fonds consists of correspondence, reports, financial materials, bound volumes, newspaper clippings, appointment notices, applications, minutes, course outlines, questionnaires, and photographs pertaining to the origins, development and administration of the School of Family and Nutritional Sciences and its predecesssors.
