History

Keith was born on August 12, 1918 in Lamont, Alberta to Christian and Ada Hoff. They lived in Waskatenau during his youth, and moved to Prince George, British Columbia in 1924. There, Hoff attended school until grade seven. Hoff married Anna Johnson in 1941 and in 1946, they moved to Vancouver. Hoff and his wife had eight children: Hazel, Larry, Craig, Russell, Alan, Merle, Hans, and Sharon.

In later years, he worked as a Licensed forestry log scaler, and worked in the logging and sawmill industry, eventually as a Planerman and Saw Filer. He also taught First Aid to local groups and Industrial First Aid at a night school to those in the Forest Industry. He died on May 7, 2015.
