History

Katherine Watson Emery was born in New Brunswick Canada in 1900. She moved to Vancouver, British Columbia where she trained as a nurse. In 1944 she was accepted into overseas service with the St. John Ambulance Brigade of Canada to tend to wounded during World War Two. She returned to Canada on September 25th 1945. Emery lived much of the rest of her life in Vancouver until she passed away in 1970.
