Biographical history
Gladstone Murray was a journalist, speaker and lobbyist who was very critical of the activities and goals and aims of the CCF (Cooperative Commonwealth Federation) and all other socialist parties. He was also the head of the Responsible Enterprise association.

Scope and content
The fonds consists of records created and compiled by Gladstone Murray and the Responsible Enterprise association. Records are related to the annual dinners (1959-1961) put on by the association, as well as printed materials published or collected by the association. In order to reflect this the fonds is divided into two series: Annual Dinner series and Printed Materials series. Record types in the Annual dinner series include minutes, correspondence and reports. Records in the Printed Materials series include cartoons, newsletters, bulletins, and magazine articles.

Arrangement
Some files in this fonds were originally bound in 3 ring binders and housed in two separate boxes. In December 2017 the archivist removed the materials from these binders and rehoused the contents. As a result of this the physical extent of the fonds decreased by 12 centimeters.
