Biographical history
Born in New Jersey, R.W. Stedingh was educated at Glassboro State College and Rutgers University prior to teaching English in Europe. Arriving in Vancouver, he completed his M.A. in Creative Writing in 1971, became a manager editor of Prism International and was the editor-in-chief of the Canadian Fiction Magazine in the 1970s.
