Robertson would have met Geoffrey Riddehough while studying English and History at the Fairview campus. Riddehough wrote to Robertson seeking academic and professional advice. Robertson was also responsible for establishing the Classics Club, of which Riddehough was a member, which was maintained until the early 1990s.
