Menzies was the secretary and curator of the Vancouver City Musuem from ca. 1926-1950. Amy Campbell-Johnston would later marry Tom Hurley and be known as Maisie Hurley. She was a noted labor and First Nations rights activist, and founded the Native Voice magazine.
