Consists of a manuscript voyage report for the cargo ship T. E. V. Beavercove by Captain Basil Ford. The report entries have been kept as a log with the time written with each entry. Also enclosed are letters, a printed form with a diagram indicating disposition of the cargo in the Beavercove, and notes pertaining to the voyage in 1961

Item is a bound collection of twenty-one re-typed letters written by Alva D. Stein, Jr. to his mother and father while he was travelling the world in 1932 and 1933, including letters written while travelling on the Canadian Pacific Railway and C.P. R.M.S. Empress of Japan. The letters are written in detail and give personal descriptions of Japan, China, India, Egypt and Italy.
