Series consists of several essays and papers written by Bewley and some works overseen by her in her capacity as a professor in the School of Librarianship at UBC. It also includes some research materials related explicitly to Bewley's interest in library legislation, as well as some miscellaneous material about the UBC School of Librarianship. The series is arranged chronologically.

Series consists of records relating to the British Columbia Centennial Citizen's Conference on Libraries. Bewley served as chair of the Programme Committee and included correspondence, reports, minutes, notes, and clippings.

The fonds consist of Bewley's academic and professional work, including several papers written and supervised by her. It also includes the records from several professional associations to which Bewley belonged. These include; the Library Development Commission (1971), The Fraser Valley Regional Library Committee (the 1970s), the B.C. Centennial Citizen's Conference on Libraries (1971), for which Bewley served as chair of the Programs Committee, and the Association of B.C. Librarians (1968-1969), later the BCLA (1980s).

Series consists of correspondence, minutes, working papers, drafts, notes and reports prepared during Bewley's work on a variety of panels, boards and committees for the BCLA, CLA, Great Vancouver Library Development Committee, Fraser Valley Regional Library Committee, and the British Columbia Library Development Commission among others. It also includes information relating to the proceedings of the 5 Conferences associated with the Library Development Commission in 1971. Series is arranged chronologically.
