Series consists of minutes, agendas, reports, and notes from the following committees and boards: Boiler and Pressure Valve Review Board ; Labour Policy Subcommittee; Oil/Chemical Industries Trade Advisory Committee ; Piping Trade Advisory Committee; Legislative and Research Committee, Pumphouse Committee and Safety Committee.


Series consists of reports, minutes, recommendations, resolutions, hand-written notes and agendas related to various conventions and meetings that were attended by union members, including Area Council Meetings, Canadian District Conferences, OCAW International Conventions, NDP Conventions, and the B.C. Federation of Labour Conventions. In addition, a 1983 file containing material relating to a "Sarnia Fact-Finding Trip" is included in this series.

The fonds consists of minutes, financial and office files of the Energy and Chemical Workers Union Local 614 and its predecessors, the United Oil Workers Union Local 3, the Oil Workers International Union Local 614, and the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers International Union Local 16-614. The fonds also includes correspondence and agreements of Imperial Oil Ltd. relating to the initial unionization of workers at the Ioco Refinery, Ioco, B.C. (now Port Moody, B.C.), 1943-1946.
