[Maud Bauer Photo Album]

A photo album with hand-written notes documenting the life and travel of Maud Bauer of Vancouver; in particular a trip with her Mother in 1903. The photos, housed in a small notebook, are well-preserved and almost all have captions including personal names, and city populations. See also UL_1015 for photos and diary of her husband William A. Bauer concerning a trip he took to Malaysia and Singapore.

Bauer, Maud

[Porter Family Album]

A photo album kept by the family of Dr. A.E. Porter of their travels throughout Canada, the United States, and South America. The album is in moderate shape, with a lot of the pages falling apart at the edges. The photos are thoroughly captioned, and there is also a newspaper clipping pasted in the back that details some of Dr. Porter's history.

Scenes By The Way

An album of photographs taken by an unknown photographer, believed to be of their family and travels. Also included are some additional photographs, postcards, and a typed text of a speech on the subject of female suffrage that was delivered in Seattle. The location where most of the photographs were taken is unknown, but appear to be throughout the United States and Canada, with a few depicting Quesnel, British Columbia, which may have been home to the family. The slim album and the photographs are in good condition.
