The fonds includes individual photographs and a photograph album depicting locations of the lower mainland and Vancouver Island, student group photographs and images of family members and individuals. The textual records pertain to the personal correspondence of the members of the Wilkinson family, school records, an appointment book, a diary, sketchbooks of international travel, personal financial records and statistical records relating to British Columbia logging practices.

Fonds reflects William A. Paskins’ early career in naturopathy, including his presidency of the Association of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia. The collection of papers of William Brenton Burnett consists mainly of autograph letters, typescripts of addresses, notebooks and documents. These relate to Dr. Burnett’s life as a student at Acadia University and at McGill University, and as a teacher and physician in Vancouver, British Columbia. The principal part of the collection deals with the early years of the period covered (1891-1964). A number of diplomas accompany these papers.

The fonds consists of drafts of a long version and a short version of an unpublished manuscript, "Running Scared", as well as notebooks and subject files dealing with the consequences of dieselization of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) in the Revelstoke Division betweek 1957 and 1984. Powell collected extensive documentation from the relevant unions, Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen and the United Transportation Union, in response to this event and it is included in the fonds.

The fonds consists of correspondence, much of it by or addressed to Sheila Young, concerning various international issues. Among the addressees are Prime Ministers Trudeau, Pearson, and Diefenbaker; various cabinet ministers; international heads-of-state; the United Nations; newspapers, commissions and organizations; government departments and agencies, and businesses. The fonds includes records of the 11th, 13th-18th, and 20th International Congresses of the W.I.L.P.F., as well as printed material on military expenditures, the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, peace, and the polar regions, and also contains evidential records pertaining to W.I.L.P.F. operations. An accrual was added in 2007 containing printed material, minutes, correspondence from 1988-1997, financial and other operations records, ephemera, and records relating to the creation of the Canadian section and the drafting of its constitution. An additional accrual was added in 2015 including video recordings of W.I.L.P.F. and affiliated organizations events, and other organizational records.

World War I British press photograph collection

The collection consists of photography of every aspect of World War I - from cadet training to soldiers' graves. Every theatre of war is represented, but the majority of prints were taken in Europe, particularly on the battlefields of France and Belgium. In Britain, there are prints of Gibson Girls welding ships or carting coal. There are prints of royalty and military commanders, including Greek, Belgian and Japanese aristocracy. The technology of war is illustrated in the numerous prints of planes, ships, tanks and guns of all kinds. The collection is strong in portraying the average "Tommy" and his role in the war.

Dunn and Company store, depicting goods ready for shipment from Vancouver to the Klondike and interiors and exteriors of the Yorkshire Building in the 1950s.

The records of Klondike-era merchants include those of Marcus Rosenthal and Company, Barrett and Hull (1901-1904), William Barrett, Klondike Thawing Machinery Company (1911-1926), Landhal's Emporium (1906), and Rook Brothers (1905-1906). Records of placer mining companies include those of Clear Creek Placers Ltd. (1941-1956), Yukon Gold Placers Ltd. and subsidiary companies (1941-1956), Canadian Placers Ltd. The fonds consists of records related to Zeljko Kujundzic’s role as an artist as well as his role as an educator. There are also records related to his personal life. The fonds consists of three series: artist records; teaching and professional records; and personal and administrative records.

Records relating to the first series, Kujundzic’s artist records are divided into two subseries: artwork and projects, and exhibitions and publicity. The artwork and projects subseries contains records related to the production of his artwork, including drafts, studio works, sketchbooks, writings, poetry, and research and inspiration materials. It also includes several pieces of Kujundzic’s artistic media, such as his metal moulds and woodblock prints. The subseries exhibitions and publicity consists of records relating to Kujundzic’s public appearances and the exhibitions and galleries he was part of. It includes magazine articles, newspaper and press clippings, artwork commissions, posters and pamphlets, and photocopies of articles about Kujundzic and his art.

Records in the series teaching and professional records relate to his role as a professor and as a member and director of arts societies. This series is divided into three subseries: Kootenay School of Arts, Pennsylvania State University, and Professional affiliations. The series Kootenay School of Arts contains records of Kujundzic’s time as a teacher in the Okanagan, B.C., and records relating to the Art Centre in Kelowna. The subseries Pennsylvania State University contains records related to his time spent with the Arts Department of PSU and consists of teaching, lecture and workshop materials, correspondence between faculty, and records relating to his role as a professor. Professional Affiliations subseries contains records relating to the associations and societies he was part of and some that he founded, including the Sculptors’ Society of British Columbia and the Contemporary Okanagan Artists.

Records in the personal and administrative records series includes personal correspondence made and received by Kujundzic, photographs, family and biographical records, CVs, applications, and immigration and travel documents.
