The fonds consists of correspondence, subject files and photograph albums pertaining to the Fullers' professional careers, labour activities and personal lives. The fonds also contains materials which reflect the activities of the Labour History Provincial Specialist Association of the BCTF and the Sechelt Indian Curriculum Project and a film, "For Twenty Cents a Day".

The fonds consists of photographs and negatives from the Georgia Straight newspaper photograph files, depicting demonstrations, conflicts, picnics, concerts, musicians, celebrities and other events and individuals.

Fonds contains 171 letters from Tom McEwen spanning the decades from 1944 to 1976, and 4 letters from his wife, Rose McEwen; her sister, Anne Belenkaya; and Norman McEwen, Tom and Rose’s son, and his family. Lily Greene remained friends with both Tom and his family for many years, so the letters are mostly of a personal nature but many contain discussions of, or references to, issues important to the Communist Party in Canada and elsewhere, including Tom’s observations of and opinions on events occuring both at home and internationally, like the Vietnam war.

There are 22 photographs of Tom McEwen and various family members, as well as copies of photographs of Lily’s children. A clippings file contains an assortment of newspaper clippings, some columns and opinion pieces written by Tom McEwen, with the majority on issues or events concerning a member of the McEwen family. The clippings cover the period from 1950 through to 2000.

The fonds also contains two essays written by Tom McEwen and an audiocassette of a talk he gave in 1974 to a Grade 11 class taught by his grandson, Harry Ewen. The cassette also contains a recording of a CBC program “This Morning” that aired in 2000 and which incorporated that lecture as part of the program.

The fonds consists of records relating to issues such as amnesty, selective service and Canadian aid groups for draft resistors. Included is correspondence from the Vancouver Committee to Aid American War Objectors (1968-1975), questionnaires, related information and analysis (1969/70), interview transcripts, clippings, notes and printed material. The material was created during the writing of Kasinsky's book entitled, "Refugees from Militarism: Draft-Age Americans in Canada".

The Task Force records include administration files (1979-1983), correspondence, briefs, hearings, publications, ephemera and printed material.

The Penkill collection consists of records of William Bell Scott, Alice Boyd and Margaret Courtenay. The collection includes five hundred letters from Scott to Alice Boyd, and a large number of letters to Scott and Boyd from other artists and writers. Also in the collection are the letters from Arthur Hughes and letters concerning the 1872 illness of Dante Gabriel Rossetti. The collection also includes the diaries of W.B. Scott, Alice Boyd and Margaret Courtenay.

The fonds consists predominantly of correspondence between Henry Ralston and his future wife, Gertrude M. Walker during his military service in World War One. Some correspondence of Gertrude Walker herself is also included, as well other miscellaneous letters. In addition to correspondence, the fonds contains newspaper clippings and broadsheets, cards, and Military and Defence receipts.

The fonds consists of biographical material about Ravenhill, incoming and outgoing correspondence (1939-1951), a draft of "Glimpses of a Long Life" (1951) and two proofs of "Memoirs of an Educational Pioneer" (1951). The fonds also includes printed material (pertaining to health, welfare and education), memos, clippings, memorabilia and nineteen photographs used primarily as illustrations for "Memoirs...".

The fonds consists of photographs depicting conventions or groups (CCF or CCYM), press releases, correspondence, newspaper clippings, publications and a brief historical outline of the Cooperative Commonwealth Youth Movement written by Olga Reithaug. The fonds shows the workings of the CCYM, the issues with which it involved itself, and its relationship with the CCF.

The majority of records relate to issues on the environment and agriculture which reflect Sawickis major interests while serving at both civic and provincial levels. At the civic level the fonds includes records from Sawickis work on several environmental and waste management committees. The fonds also includes a series on the Six Mile Ranch affair which relates not only to Sawickis role as an MLA for the New Democratic Party and her position as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Environment, but also to her long-term commitment to, and participation with the Agricultural Land Commission. The fonds includes numerous reports and submissions regarding the Six Mile Ranch affair.
