The fonds consists of records pertaining to her life and pottery work in the form of correspondence (1931-1977), clippings, printed material, photographs, and diaries. The fonds also includes information on the Allied Officers Club of Vancouver. Correspondence with her husband, Dr. H.R.L. Davis, includes over 500 letters (1940-1944) and includes information about the Canadian armed forces in Britain.

The fonds consists of records relating to d'Easum's activities, in particular, her work as Executive-Secretary for the B.C. branch of the Canadian Coalition for Nuclear Responsibility, with information about nuclear power plants, uranium mining, nuclear terrorism, disarmament and the international peace movement.

The fonds consists of the personal records of Gilean Douglas which were produced and received during her personal and literary activities . It includes manuscripts of poems, articles, short fiction and books ; material generated and collected by Douglas during her involvement with various organizations ; notes and drafts of various writings ; research materials ; an extensive professional, fan and personal correspondence; financial records ; legal records ; lists and inventories ; records of publication ; clippings. There are journals and engagement books dating from 1911, notebooks and address books, and scrapbooks containing clippings of Douglas' published articles and poems . There are also scrapbooks and correspondence generated by her parents dating back to the 1880s. There is a notable gap in records dating from 1929 to 1932.

Photographic records date from the 1890s to the I990sand include prints, framed portraits, slides, negatives and film strips. A large assortment of photos documents her family and childhood. Douglas started taking photographs as a child. By her early twenties she was an accomplished photographer, using her own pictures to illustrate her writings. Photographs taken by her during the 1920s through the early 1940s are for the most part found in the albums. Pictures taken in the 1950s and 1960s fall into 3 main categories : black & white photos of the B .C. coast taken during her trips on the boats of the Columbia Coast Mission, color and black & white photos of communities in B .C. and eastern Canada taken during her trips for the W.I ., and pictures of Channel Rock . Unfortunately the slides and pictures taken on WI trips are unlabelled and for the most part can only be identified as to general location and date. During the 1970s and 1980s the photographs are almost exclusively of Channel Rock. A representative sample of these is included in this series ; others may be found at the Cortes Museum and Archives.

Aside from Douglas' own photographs, there are several interesting groups of other people's pictures in this collection: an album with pictures of overseas service during World War I, a group of labelled photographs of Baffin Island, Pangirtung, etc. taken in 1926/27 by an RCMP officer, and photographs from a trip around the world on a freighter in 1919.

The records offer insight into Douglas' personal history and literary development . They document, in words and pictures, an unusual and interesting life which began at the turn of the twentieth century.

Verigin, John G. Bondoreff, Christian Community and Brotherhood of Reformed Doukhobors, Peter Maloff, Alex Popoff, Eli Popoff, James Mavor, David Henderson, Claude Fisher, Peter Brock and Ivan Swetlishnoff. All the material relates to the history and activities of Doukhobors throughout the world as well as in British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

The fonds consists of the financial records of Dwyer's funeral home in Kamloops, B.C. and personal records of R.H. Dwyer (1910-1953). Included in the financial records are income tax returns (1931-1949), journals (1910-1945), ledgers (1917-1943), synoptic ledger sheets (1944- 1952), agreements (1952-1953) and purchase orders (1945-1950). The personal records contain information pertaining to the Kamloops Masonic Temple Association.

The fonds contains records related to Fahrni’s involvement with
various organizations including the Kerala Balagram School, and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, and Fahrni’s activities as a lecture at various conferences and institutions. The majority of these records are arranged into subject, or research files, and represent Fahrni’s active involvement with a variety of human rights issues and local, National and social justice organizations.

Fonds includes a sound cassette of an interview of Jim Morrison on the history of HREU locals 28 and 40.

In addition, Howay created subject files on historical sites and monuments throughout Western Canada, including Barkerville, the Cariboo, Fort Langley, Cut Knife Hill, Nootka Sound, Fort Steele, and Fort Walsh.

The cassette tapes were generated by an oral history project carried out by members of the ILWU Local 500 which led to a publication entitled "Man Along the Shore".

The collection consists of minutes of the Fraser River Canners' Association (1900-1909) and the British Columbia Canners' Association (1909-1923) and records from their members' canneries: Acme, Albion, Atlas, Colonial, Celtic, Dinsmore, Great West, Imperial, Pacific Coast, Terra Nova, and Vancouver. The collection also includes 25 scrapbooks of clippings (1900-1923) and photograph albums.

District Union files, Western District Union Files, and records of Canadian locals, the Western Federation of Miners, District No. 6 and its locals, the Sandon Miners Union, and the Metal Miners Union of the One Big Union (1920-1933). Records of individual locals vary from minute books and financial records, reports, and correspondence to extensive subject files and financial reports for larger locals. The fonds also includes a substantial photograph collection documenting union activities (1944 to 1962), tape recordings, films, charters, badges, official seals and recordings of Paul Robeson Peace Arch concerts (1950s).

The fonds consists of minutes, photographs, printed material, and correspondence relating mainly to union organization in the forest products industry (1931-1952), including the Lumber Workers' Industrial Union, Lumber and Saw Mill Workers Union, International Woodworkers of America, and Woodworkers Industrial Union of Canada, as well as to the activities of Harold Pritchett, whose correspondence up to 1979 is also included. There are, in addition, reports of convention, materials concerning wages and conditions in logging camps, a poster, and subject files on various strikes including those at Fraser Mills and Blubber Bay (1933-1944).
