The fonds consist of various committees' records associated with CICSR between 1986 and 1996. These are advisory committees that report on academic and campus computing, science education and continuing education at the University of British Columbia.

This fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, reports, financial records, published materials and clippings, legal contracts and photographs created or acquired by the Asia Pacific Business Institute and document the administrative and financial activities of the organization. Fonds consists almost entirely of records documenting UBC’s administration of the Cedar Lodge Society and the Skeleem Village Recovery Centre – the only major item from outside that period is a copy of the Society’s original articles of incorporation from 1969. The records are arranged in three series – General, Board of Directors and Committees, and Subject Files – and include correspondence, minutes, reports, and legal documents. There is some overlap in the contents of the three series.

Fonds consists of materials documenting the early history of UBC’s Alpha Tau Omega (or ATO) fraternity, and later reunions among its alumni members, and includes correspondence, copies of photographs, publications, songsheets, and membership information.

Subseries consists of a collection of documents covering the inception and development of Apex Mountain Resort near Penticton, BC. Includes form letters to Apex members, reports, and some financial statements. Also included is a collection of promotional brochures from the 1970s – 1990s.

Fonds consists of textual records that document the origins, development, and activities of the Fisheries Centre, particularly its predecessor programmes: the Institute of Fisheries and the Institute of Animal Resource Ecology. The fonds reflects Johanna den Hertog’s involvement in various women’s movement, labour movement, political and public service positions predominantly from the 1970s through the early 1990s. Records include materials related to den Hertog’s contributions to the establishment of Vancouver Rape Relief, an organization established to provide services to rape victims, as well as other activities related to advocacy for women’s rights, such as her participation in planning the Women Rally for Action in 1976. Records related to her participation in the New Democratic Party (NDP) at the provincial level include her role as Vice-President/Executive member of the Provincial NDP (1981-1987), Co-Chair of Mike Harcourt’s leadership campaign (1987), leadership roles in the planning of the party’s 1982 convention and the 1983 and 1986 elections. Records related to her service as President of the NDP include materials related to her role as spokesperson for the party, chair of numerous committees, liaison with the labour movement and the party’s representative in international forums. Also included are records of her public speeches throughout Canada. The fonds also includes records related to den Hertog’s 1984 and 1988 campaigns to win election as a Federal Member of Parliament in the riding of Vancouver-Centre and the 1989 Provincial by-election for Vancouver-Point Grey, where she put her name forward for the NDP party nomination. Although unsuccessful all three times, she lost the 1988 campaign by a narrow margin. Records relating to den Hertog’s volunteer and project work include her service as a board member of the Canadian Centre for Arms Control, her publication of a book chapter on the constitutional debate that took place in Canada in the late 80s and early 90s, her service on the Royal Commission for Electoral Reform and her service as a commissioner for the National Citizen’s Inquiry into Peace and Security.

The fonds reflects Philip J. Thomas’ involvement with the folk song community. This includes his research into British Columbian folk songs and his publications on the subject. The fonds also reflects his role as an art teacher, including cards he received from his students and photographs of paintings created by his students. The fonds also contains evidence of his personal life and career, both prior to and during his involvement with the folk song community, and some evidence of his role as a musician, including records related to performances and musical composition.
Material includes articles, music sheets, correspondence, photographs, and a film reel. The first three accruals of the fonds were arranged into three series: Research, Publications, and Folk Song Societies and Festivals. Upon receiving the 2020 accrual, the archivist added the following three series: Music, Art, Personal and Career.

The fonds consists of a copy of the society's constitution (1976), newsletters (1970-1997), correspondence (1973-1985), publications (1969-1984), and audio and video tapes and films (1975-1983).

Fonds consists of records documenting the programs and activities of the Radio Society / CiTR (including DISCORDER), including textual records and sound recordings of a variety of programs, radio plays, campus events, public service announcements, photographs of the radio studio and from different events, and advertisements produced by the Radio Society for broadcast on its station (CYVR/CiTR) or affiliated radio stations. In addition, the fonds includes recordings of interviews conducted on behalf of the Alma Mater society relating to its art collection. Fonds also consists of materials related to the administration of the radio station including information about licensing, executive meetings, policies, job descriptions, and staff training.

The fonds consists of the bound minutes of meetings of the Faculty held between 1915 and 1921. In addition, an oversize bound visitor registry (1959-1993) was acquired in 2020 and can be found in box 2.

Fonds consists of laboratory manuals published by the UBC Department of Physics between 1949 and 1966 (most dated 1957-1962); mimeographed hand-outs for experiments and other assignments; hand-written lecture notes; and a 1944 Canadian Army physics laboratory manual. Many of the manuals are annotated. The manuals are bound, but the notes and hand-outs are loose; all have been placed in acid-free folders. They are arranged by course number, and then chronologically; unnumbered materials, and folders containing unsorted material from various courses, were placed at the end.
Fonds also includes promotional materials, many of which relate specifically to the Department of Physics at university-wide Open Houses, annual reports from the Department of Physics, notes made by Professor John Warren regarding x-rays and particle physics, as well as photographs taken of individuals, groups, and events related to the Department of Physics.

The fonds consists of scrapbooks constructed by members of the Theta Chapter of the Phrateres, from some of the sub-chapters, and from the UCLA Alpha chapter, to document their activities. Scrapbooks are composed of clippings, pamphlets, photographs, and drawings relating to various charitable and social events sponsored by the organization. The records also include minutes from Theta Chapter and Presidents' and Social Reports. Other materials include membership lists, a guest book for an alumni tea, and handbooks for the UBC Theta Chapter and for the University of Washington chapter.

The fonds consists of reports and studies generated by Physical Plant and/or Plant Operations for various buildings and facilities between 1968 and 1983, and correspondence, reports, committee minutes, and published materials from UBC Utilities 1958-2001. The records in this fonds relate to both Physical Plant and its later title Land and Building Services.

These records reflect the activities of the Club and its committees. Also included are the Society's constitution and by-laws. Fonds consists copies of the constitution, minutes (1965-1975), correspondence (1965-1975), membership records (1967-1974), accounts and financial reports (1966-1973) and various newsletters and reports. A subject series is also present.

The fonds consists of logbooks, trip register, meeting minutes, and photograph albums. The logbooks and trip registers chronicle the general activities of the Varsity Outdoor Club and the activities at their various cabin locations, with comments by many who use the facilities. The files on meeting minutes contain minutes and sometimes copies of the VOCene, the club's newsletter, or advertisement and informational material related to the organization's activities. The photograph albums include black and white and coloured prints from several decades of the club's existence.

The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes of the Association's Annual General Meeting and its Executive Committee, reports by the Association and other organizations, published materials, questionnaires, and copies of the AWA constitution and administrative history.

The fonds consist of correspondence, minutes, manuscripts, annual reports, and financial records relating to the Institute of Pacific Relations activities, particularly William Holland's varied roles as I.P.R. Research Secretary, AIPR Executive Secretary I.P.R. Secretary-General, and Editor of Pacific Affairs. Also included are court documents, transcripts, reports and publications relating to the investigations of the I.P.R. and its staff completed by the United States government, including photocopies of F.B.I. files, reports of the McCarran Subcommittee, and publications of the Special Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations.

The fonds consist of Bewley's academic and professional work, including several papers written and supervised by her. It also includes the records from several professional associations to which Bewley belonged. These include; the Library Development Commission (1971), The Fraser Valley Regional Library Committee (the 1970s), the B.C. Centennial Citizen's Conference on Libraries (1971), for which Bewley served as chair of the Programs Committee, and the Association of B.C. Librarians (1968-1969), later the BCLA (1980s).

The fonds consists of records generated by the Faculty Association in pursuit of its mandate to promote the welfare of the Faculty and the University of British Columbia. The records were organized according to several filing schemes, which were alphabetical, and constantly changing. Lack of consistency in the arrangement of the records impeded access. The archivist grouped the files into fifteen identifiable series. The original file titles have been retained.

The fonds consists of correspondence, reports, and minutes which document Rosenbluth's involvement with various associations and committees including the UBC Board of Governors and the Canadian Economic Association. The bulk of the material consists of files from the 1960s when he was chairman of the Salaries Committee of the Canadian Association of University Teachers.

The fonds consists of constitutions, minutes, correspondence, financial records, programs, scrapbooks, speeches, membership lists, clippings, and assorted other material relating to the administration of the organization. In addition, the fonds includes recording of lectures delivered to the Vancouver Institute. It is arranged in the following series: history, constitution, minutes, correspondence, financial records, programs, membership records, newspaper clippings, series papers, and lectures.

Fonds consists of photocopies of the wills of Emily Carr (1945) and Ira Dilworth (1954), regarding the ownership of Carr's copyright. The fonds also includes correspondence (1967-1983) from artist Gordon Smith addressed to John Parnall and his family, as well as printed material regarding Smith. Also included are Parnall's certificates of service from the Pacific Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.

The collection consists of records from both the Council for Canadian Unity and the Task Force on Canadian Unity. Connaghan assembled this collection of correspondence, printed material and clippings, which date from 1975 to 1980.
