The fonds consists of the records of the B.C. Youth Parliament dating from its first session in 1924. The fonds consists of ninety-four original watercolours of British Columbian life, mainly of social life, customs, and dress in Hudson's Bay Company posts and along various transportation routes (1874-1880). Sketch book includes four photographs of Fort McLeod, Stuart Lake and the artist. An accrual to the fonds fonds consists of artwork and a published memoir of H. Bullock-Webster. The artworks depict scenes from the daily life Bullock-Webster experienced managing the trade post in Northern British Columbia in the late 19th century. Nine original pieces are included along with ca. 35 clippings of artwork, comics, and illustrations published in The Graphic magazine. The included memoir, entitled, Memories of Sports and Travel Fifty Years Ago: From the Hudson’s Bay Company to New Zealand, contains the author’s account of his young adulthood in Britain, his work for the Hudson Bay Company, and his emigration to New Zealand, along with several illustrations by the author.

Many of the records in this fonds were used in relation to Burch’s autobiography, and therefore pertain to his childhood, education, navy service, and largely to his career as a forester. These records include genealogical research materials, photographs, educational certificates, navy service records, and textual documentation of his career and interests in forestry. It also reflects other projects undertaken by Burch, such as the Working Forest publication, a history of South Vancouver Island, as well as papers, research, correspondence, and speeches. The fonds is divided into four series: Biographical materials; Papers, speeches and correspondence; British Columbia Forest Products; South Vancouver Island history; and The Working Forest project.

The fonds consists of papers of the Charlton family principally generated by Ormand Lee Charlton and his son Darwin, who in turn functioned as custodian of the records. The records themselves generally relate to the early CCF movement in British Columbia, and other socialist and labour movements across Canada. Papers include information about the Canadian Cooperative Society (Ruskin Mills) and the Industrial Union (Ruskin) in the 1890s. The fonds also includes several copies of the CCF news, the party newspaper, as well as scrapbooks, clippings, drafts of speeches and addresses, correspondence and photographs relate to the family's involvement in socialist politics. The fonds also includes a collection of CCF poems written by Charlton's wife Annie, and essays written by famed socialist thinker Mildred Macleod.
