Four handwritten exercise books (notebooks) containing notes on union activities in the form of phone numbers, addresses, to-do lists, lists of supplies, calculations, financial information, scheduling, drafts of correspondence, questions, information about the newsletter, and the activities of Locals 1-6. One of the notebooks appears to have been used for class or personal notes as it mostly contains psychology and mental health information with a section on union and strike activities at the end.

The fonds consists of briefs presented to the Royal Commission on Forest Resources in British Columbia. The Commission received 194 briefs from a wide range of interested societies, firms, professional associations, local governments, labour groups, and other organizations, as well as individuals. The fonds also includes briefs from both the Forest Policy Advisory Committee (1977) which invited submissions reacting to Pearse's final report and from the Select Standing Committee on Forestry and Fisheries (1973). There is also a small collection of speeches by others pertaining to the forest industry (1955-1971).

The collection consists of correspondence, financial materials, minutes, reports, plays, clippings, scrapbooks, notes, brochures, and photographs pertaining to various dramatic organizations with which Rushton was involved. These organizations include Vancouver Little Theatre Association, Vancouver Children's Theatre, Vancouver Community Children's Theatre, Holiday Theatre, Holiday Playhouse and Playhouse Theatre. Rushton collected this material for the purpose of writing a history of the Holiday Theatre and to document the children's theatre movement in British Columbia. Also included is an audio recording of an interview conducted by Rushton.

The collection consists of correspondence, reports, and newspaper clippings that document the creation and development of BCMC. The materials include photocopies of twenty-seven BCMC task force reports initially released in 1974, each of which addresses a specific aspect of health care in British Columbia. The fonds consists of miscellaneous files from George Pickard's office (1949-1974), including records from the Canadian Committee on Oceanography (1960-1972). The bulk of the records are composed of departmental files including correspondence, grant material, and financial records. There is also a comprehensive set of oceanographic log sheets containing data collected between 1951 and 1978.

The papers consist of McLennan's reminiscences of his Fairview days and life as a Rhodes scholar. Also included is a series of correspondence dating from 1924 to 1976. The correspondence has been arranged in two ways. The general correspondence has been simply arranged chronologically while other letters and cards, which McLennan sent to the Archives as identified groups, have been maintained as such. The papers also include printed material from the Canadian Association of Rhodes Scholars and Balliol College.
