The records consist of signed contracts, specifications, minutes, correspondence, quotations, financial statements, reports, signed Forms of Tender, memoranda, photographs and architectural drawings. They document the planning and construction of the University of British Columbia buildings designed and overseen by the architectural firm. Also, They document the architectural firm's activities on buildings in Vancouver, the province of British Columbia and elsewhere. Some of the files represent unsuccessful bids on jobs. There are original, blueprint and ozalid architectural drawings in this collection. The drawings of University buildings consist mainly of original drawings and blueprints. The drawings of buildings in Vancouver and elsewhere are few in number and are mostly ozalid reproductions.

Composed of representatives of the Provincial Ministry of Agriculture, Agriculture Canada, and the UBC Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, the Committee advised the Minister of Agriculture and allotted research funds for research projects within the province.

The fonds consists of one series of architectural drawings of UBC buildings drawn between 1914 and 1941. There are 70 architectural plans in 20 sets that are arranged by the building title in alphabetical order, followed by plans for manholes, steam lines and block plans of the campus. Architectural drawings consist of the mechanical, vacuum and heating systems of individual UBC buildings and block drawings of the campus. The majority of prints are wash-off prints, printed on drafting linen, but a few are on transparent architectural paper.

The majority of the collection consists of over 200 pencil handwritten copies of Martha May Beardmore’s accounts of her work during the First World War in Serbia and Salonika. At the end of the collection is a covering letter from her husband, Harry Beardmore to the UBC librarian which gives some biographical information.

Fonds captures the life of Jack Pearcey in British Columbia in the 1920s when he was an engineering student at the University of British Columbia (class of 1927) and when he traveled the province as part of his work for the Geological Survey of Canada. Photographs depict Pearcey and his colleagues doing survey work in rural areas and feature such locations as Nakusp, Prosperity, Green Point, Wreck Bay, Victoria, Marmor Glacier, and Blair Glacier. Pearcey’s Geological Survey of Canada work in the Slocan region features Slocan, Slocan Lake, Kaslo, Kootenay Lake, Sandon, New Denver, and Carpenter Creek Valley. Photographs also depict Britannia Mine and miners, bunk houses, work camps, regional flora, UBC (including construction of the science building), camping/hiking, and more.

The collection consists of photography of every aspect of World War I - from cadet training to soldiers' graves. Every theatre of war is represented, but the majority of prints were taken in Europe, particularly on the battlefields of France and Belgium. In Britain, there are prints of Gibson Girls welding ships or carting coal. There are prints of royalty and military commanders, including Greek, Belgian and Japanese aristocracy. The technology of war is illustrated in the numerous prints of planes, ships, tanks and guns of all kinds. The collection is strong in portraying the average "Tommy" and his role in the war.

The fonds consists of an album created by former UBC student Arthur Evan Boss. It contains over 560 small black and white photographs, of which approximately the first half relate to UBC and taken between 1917 and 1924. The 232 UBC images include many views of students and student life at the original Fairview campus. As well as posed individual shots of students, there are many photographs of various student activities, including the annual class picnic. Although there is limited duplication of images already in the Archives, the photographs are, for the most part, unique, and a large majority of them have captions with enough information for identifying individuals. Images in the second half of the album lack detailed description and do not appear to relate to UBC.

The fonds includes records of the 11th, 13th-18th, and 20th International Congresses of the W.I.L.P.F., as well as printed material on military expenditures, the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, peace, and the polar regions, and also contains evidential records pertaining to W.I.L.P.F. operations. An accrual was added in 2007 containing printed material, minutes, correspondence from 1988-1997, financial and other operations records, ephemera, and records relating to the creation of the Canadian section and the drafting of its constitution. An additional accrual was added in 2015 including video recordings of W.I.L.P.F. and affiliated organizations events, and other organizational records.

Fonds consists of 370 black and white negatives taken between 1917 and 1924. The images are primarily of UBC students at the University's original Fairview campus. There are also shots of faculty members. As well as posed individual shots of students, there are many photographs of various student activities including the annual class picnic. Although most of the photographs are not identified they are very important for collectively documenting student life at the University in the late teen’s and early 1920s.

Fonds consists of various revised constitutions, minutes, annual reports of the Club, its committees and interest groups, financial records (including bound ledgers), correspondence, membership lists, newsletters, programmes (including photographs used in their production), a videotape of the Club's 75th-anniversary banquet, and scrapbooks. The increase in Club membership parallels the growth and development of the University. The records reflect many of the changes which have taken place over the years. They provide an insight into the concerns and activities of educated women through two world wars and the depression and record some of their contributions to university life.

The fonds consists of handwritten minutes from a special meeting (March 1917) of the Class of 1916 at which members discussed the possibility of establishing an Alumni Association. Also included are two scrapbooks. The first, assembled by A. Irene (Vermilyea) Menzies in 1972, provides information about the class's members after graduation, university faculty, and the early history of the university, handwritten with newspaper clippings. The second scrapbook includes biographical information about early UBC graduates from 1916 to 1922 – handwritten, with clippings from Annual yearbooks.
