Mosher Books series

Series documents Fredeman's interest in the 19th-century American publisher Thomas Bird Mosher and his involvement in publishing Philip Bishop Mosher's bibliography and contains correspondence, research materials, and drafts of the bibliography.

Audiovisual Materials series

Series consists of four photographs showing William Fredeman, Norman Colbeck, and Roland Lanning with the Colbeck Collection and two video cassettes of interviews with Norman Colbeck and Mabel Colbeck.

Colbeck Collection series

Series documents the acquisition and cataloguing of the Norman Colbeck collection and contains a photocopy of the catalogue's original manuscript, correspondence, and minutes of the Colbeck Catalogue Committee. Also included is some of Colbeck's correspondence that had come into Fredeman's possession.

Correspondence series

Series consists of William Fredeman's personal and professional correspondence and is organized into two sub-series: Alphabetical (arranged by correspondent or subject) and General Correspondence (arranged in chronological order).

Subject Files series

Series documents Fredeman's various activities, projects, and interests and contains correspondence, reports, copies of articles, clippings, and a journal. The materials are arranged alphabetically by subject.

Miscellaneous series

Series includes a set of index cards, compiled by Fredeman, listing Pre-Raphaelite publications and related materials. The other item is a stamp of the Journal of Pre-Raphaelite and Aesthetic Studies logo.

The fonds contain materials that document William Fredeman's professional activities and personal life. It consists of correspondence, reports, copies of articles, course materials, a journal, clippings, microfilms and photocopies of original manuscripts, written notes and other research materials, photographs, videocassettes, a set of index cards, and a metal seal bearing the logo of the Journal of Pre-Raphaelite & Aesthetic Studies. The materials are arranged in the following series: Colbeck Collection, JPRAS (Journal of Pre-Raphaelite & Aesthetic Studies), Emily Faithfull and the Victorian Press, Victorian Poetry, T.J.
