Fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, reports, financial records, and published materials created or acquired by the Office of the Dean of Arts in the course of the Faculty's administration. Also included are architectural plans of the Buchanan Building and other campus facilities. The fonds consists of the research on Le Fanu conducted by Roy Stokes. Records relate to the personal life and professional writing career of Le Fanu that were collected and composed by Roy Stokes. Records include: four original letters by or for Le Fanu, typed transcripts of letters, and correspondence between Stokes and various people and institutions throughout his research process; bibliographies by Roy Stokes and other authors; photographs and photo negatives of Beaumaris; newspapers and articles; photocopies of book chapters; and a poster and program for the Gate Theatre performance of “Carmilla”.

The fonds contain materials that document William Fredeman's professional activities and personal life. It consists of correspondence, reports, copies of articles, course materials, a journal, clippings, microfilms and photocopies of original manuscripts, written notes and other research materials, photographs, videocassettes, a set of index cards, and a metal seal bearing the logo of the Journal of Pre-Raphaelite & Aesthetic Studies.
