History
Intermedia Press evolved as a publishing branch of the Intermedia Society. It began publishing in 1968 under the direction of Ed Varney and Harry Rappaport and eventually developed into a full facility printing and publishing company. The press specialized in new Canadian writing including fiction, non-fiction and poetry. Intermedia stopped publishing in 1983 to focus on printing.
