History
In 1981, the Bank and Finance Workers, Local 4 of the Service, Office, and Retail Workers Union of Canada (SORWUC) was created , and it continued carrying out the same actions as its predecessor, the United Bank Workers. The union widened its scope to include workers from trust companies. However, financial and orgnization problems plagued the union, and by 1986 the union ceased actions completely.
