Fonds consists of 10 volumes of purchase requisitions from 1954 to 1958, and a central office correspondence series from 1955 to 1965. The correspondence is informally arranged within a classification system that was inconsistently applied and developed until 1964. Two reference sheets for the subject classification system remain for 1956 and 1963 and are included in the first file for each of those two years. Many of the headings reflect the categories used by the Department of Agronomy. Intermingled with the files of the division are some of the faculty papers of V.C. Brink, the chair of the division. In 1964, the entire system appears to have broken down. From 1964 to 1970 all the division correspondence files were stored in unlabelled file folders the vast majority of which exhibited no internal coherence. Because of the presence of Brink's faculty papers in the files, and because of the absence of the division's classification system, the records from 1964 to 1970 have been arranged and described with Brink's personal papers. For a complete understanding of the functions and activities of the division, these records must also be consulted.

Fonds consists of records made and received by the Division of Industrial Education. The bulk of the fonds documents the administrative activities of the Division, such as personnel, budgets, meetings, committees, and the association with the Faculty of Education and other offices at UBC. The fonds also contain program development documentation, including proposals, curriculum, course outlines, and other teaching materials. Additional records are related to the field of Industrial Education in general. Textual records are comprised of memorandums, meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, reports, notes, curriculum, and lesson plans. Non-textual records include photographs and technical drawings.

Fonds consists of textual records created in the course of the Department's activities, as well as some published materials describing its programs. Fonds contains committee reports, correspondence, and subject files, as well as published materials describing its programs and correspondence of its faculty members including Michael Futrell, Barbara Hedt, Peter Petro, Ncholas Poppe, Irina Rebrin, Irina Reid and Chris Turner and Bogdan Czaykowski.

It includes records of the Co-ordinating Committee which laid the foundations for the organization (1971-1973); CUFA Council (1973-1977); Canadian Association of University Teachers (1972-1976); CUFA Committees (1972-1977); Local Associations (1972-1974) and Treasurer's material (1980-1983).

Fonds consists of minutes, agendas, financial statements, reports, surveys, publications, news releases, and transcripts relating to Community Relations activities and programs. It also includes subject files containing information concerning UBC organizations. Fonds is organized into ten series: Office Administration, Subject Files, Media Relations, Campus Tours, Films and Scripts, Donors and Financial Aid Programmes, Congregation, Faculty and External CV's (biographical information), Central File Series, President's Report on the Health Sciences, and UBC 75th Anniversary Projects.

Fonds consists of material related to meetings and minutes, revenue statements, and specific scholarship applications and awards. Also included is a copy of volume 1, number 1 of the newspaper "Western Universities Battalion-196th" from October 21, 1916. (Copy in the Stuart J. Schofield fonds. The fonds consists of field notebooks, reference materials and a forestry report written by Marchant. Of particular note to UBC is Marchant’s research in the summer of 1979 on the botany of the cliffs at Point Grey.

The fonds consists of records generated through the various activities of the Ceremonies Office. Included in the fonds are administrative records (1964-1984) as well as records that document the activities associated with Congregation (1950-2006), building openings (1951-1986) and numerous functions sponsored by the University (1962-1995). The fonds also include information about honorary degree recipients, congratulatory greetings to Presidents K. George Pedersen (1983), David Strangway (1985) and various other ceremonial activities. Fonds consists of original versions of manuscripts and working records. Included are manuscripts, edited and marked for printing, typescript, editorials, articles, poems and book reviews of Canadian Literature, Issues #73 - #179, 1977-2003. Also included are correspondence files, 1975-1993. These latter files contain letters from many well-known Canadian writers and poets. Records from the pre-1977 period will be found at Queen's University Archives interspersed with other correspondence in the George Meredith Woodcock manuscript collection.

The fonds consists of ledger books and bound ledger sheets, documenting the assets, revenues and expenses of the University, student loans and awards, faculty salaries, and other expenses. Most of them were kept in a numbered sequence, which has been mostly retained.

The fonds consists of video recordings of various plays featured in the festival, photographs from some festival events and records pertaining to the administration of the festival. Administrative records take the form of promotional programs and posters, meeting minutes, agendas, memorandum, calendars, budgets, reports, newspaper clippings, notes, correspondence, handbooks, and some play scripts.

The fonds consists of Board minutes 1913-1963 (8 reels of microfilm); minutes of open Board meetings, 1975-1994; records arising from the investigation and subsequent report of Judge Peter Lampman (1931-32); Alumni Development Fund records (1948-1949) in a scrapbook; correspondence and manuscript relating to the history of the university (1953-1961).
