Rushton collected this material for the purpose of writing a history of the Holiday Theatre and to document the children's theatre movement in British Columbia. Also included is an audio recording of an interview conducted by Rushton.

The fonds consists of one album of photographs taken by Sage between September 1945 and August 1946 at a relocation camp near Tashme, B.C. where she was a social worker. The photographs include general views of the scenery, individuals and groups and some smaller buildings. In addition to the camp shots, there are also pictures of Japanese Canadians preparing for relocation. The album also includes a newspaper clipping, post card and a typescript article about the Tashme Camp. The fonds also includes a small body of correspondence written by Margaret Sage to her parents Walter and Nelda Sage and to her brother Donald (1945/46).

Previously known as the "Ethel Johns Research Collection", the fonds consists of records generated during Street's writing of the biography of Ethel Johns. It includes correspondence (1969-1974) with publishers and the Canada Council which funded the project; transcripts of interviews with students, friends and associates (1969-1970); copies of Johns' addresses and publications (including portions of an unfinished autobiography); and draft manuscripts for the book "Watch-Fires on the Mountains".

The fonds reflects Mary Bishop’s interests in the social and political issues surrounding family planning, access to birth control, and population planning, primarily in Canada, as well as in south Asia and globally. She accumulated a large number of subject files to support her research in these areas on topics including human sexuality; abortion; fertility; welfare of children and families; and the influence of organized religion and Eugenics movements on birth control access. The fonds also reflects Bishop’s dedication to voluntary service with local, national, and international organizations focused on family and population planning. A small number of personal records are also included.

The fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, and reports pertaining to the Committee on Gerontology from 1973 to 1979. The material primarily chronicles the efforts of the committee to secure a Centre for Gerontological Research at UBC.

Fonds consists of textual material related to the teaching and academic work of Morehart at UBC, as well as personal research and publications. There are also materials from Morehart’s personal life, including artwork, which consists primarily of several canvas boards and other flat materials, and personal correspondence. Materials include handwritten notes, printed documents, publications, photocopies of publications and articles, original artwork, journals, and the contents of several binders. Folder names are primarily taken from original folders. The fonds consists of four series – Personal Materials series, Bollert Family series, Artifacts series, and Photographs series. They feature correspondence to and from members of the Bollert Family, information and notes used in speeches on various subjects to various groups given by Mary Bollert, collected newspaper clippings relating to members of the Bollert family, as well as several personal diaries and notebooks. The fonds is comprised of three series based on the office of origin: Vancouver College, The Royal Institution for the Advancement of Learning in British Columbia, and McGill University College of British Columbia.

The fonds consists of two series: Photographic and Audiovisual. The photographs were created by Information Services and Community Relations and were transferred to the University Archives by the Public Affairs Office. The photographs are 35 mm negative format and digital-born photos on optical discs. The images document a wide variety of important people, events and activities at the University of British Columbia between 1980 and 1991.

The video and audio recordings ([1966?]-2008) are of events on campus both at UBC Vancouver and Okanagan, including the announcement of the Okanagan campus. The material includes copies of media clips, promotional videos, speeches, the visit of dignitaries such as the Dalai Lama and stock footage. The audiovisual formats include VHS, DVD, Umatic, Betacam sp and unknown optical disc formats. Sound recordings are made up of cassette tapes and compact disc digital audio (CD-DA).

The fonds also contains material relating to Bullocks work as a translator and includes a variety of genres translated into English from the original French, German, or Italian. The correspondence from 1935 illustrates the business life of a professional writer; it also contains a wealth of personal correspondence that helps solidify Bullock's stature as a writer both locally and internationally. Impressive figures such as Marcel Bealu, Max Frisch, and Joy Kogawa are intermingled with less well-known artists, friends, and family in the correspondence, and provide valuable commentary, over nearly 70 years, into the creative path chosen by Bullock.

The fonds consists of Craddock’s professional papers in the form of textual records (including correspondence, reports, minutes, course materials, interviews), published materials, technical research notes, presentation slides and reference materials. The papers primarily chronicle Craddock’s work and role at TRIUMF, particularly TRIUMF’s attempt to build a Kaon Factory particle accelerator. Many other aspects of TRUMF are documented in these papers, including- administration, various committees, workshops, published reports and research, various particle physics projects, physics reference files, and collaborations with other organizations. Craddock’s work on recording TRIUMF’s origins and history is also represented.
Outside of Craddock’s involvement with TRIUMF, other professional papers reflect his teaching career, talks, presentations, correspondence with colleagues, graduate students, and the public.

Fonds consists of departmental records from Anthropology and Sociology (1964-2000); Canadian Sociology and Anthropology Association records (1970-1979); and material relating to the Simon Fraser University dispute concerning the Department of Political Science, Sociology and Anthropology (1969-1971). Ames assembled this group of records through his participation on the C.S.A.A. team, which studied the situation. The papers also include Ames's descriptions of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Museums Association (1980-1983) and the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (1967-1995). The material relating to the Shastri Institute includes records generated or collected by Ames and other members of the Institute at UBC. The names of other members are indicated in the file title. Also, the fonds contains manuscripts and drafts, records about Ames's research, courses taught by Ames, a variety of conferences and seminars, and records about Ames’ participation in several museum studies program reviews.
