The collection consists of materials collected or acquired from various sources that document the history of the Sopron Division of Forestry and its alumni. In addition, it includes a set of the Kapocs Sopron alumni newsletter.

The records of the Department of Athletics and Recreation fonds are representative of the athletics side of the Department of Athletics and Recreation. While athletics and recreation fall under the same department, in practice, they operate independently of one another. Their textual records are also physically held at separate locations. Surviving records in the Department of Athletics and Recreation fonds are broadly representative of the achievements of UBC athletes and teams. Far less extensive, are the types of administrative documents produced or accumulated in the course of the day-to-day business of the department. Examples of records present in the fonds include programs, historical research, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, team rosters, scoresheets, profile write-ups, yearbooks, media guides, correspondence, agendas, training schedules, coaching handbooks, travel itineraries, and ephemera.

Fonds consists predominantly of copies of Douglas Bankson’s plays, scripts and short stories. It also includes photographs from two Bankson plays and of his artwork, as well as different posters and recordings from miscellaneous Bankson productions.

The fonds consists of documentation regarding specific courses, accreditation, correspondence, surveys, interdepartmental memoranda, sample student work, and brochures. Most of the documentation originates from the office of Engineering Physics under the directorship of Prof. Edward Auld. Dr. Jon Nakame accumulated the CEAB Accreditation materials. In general, these documents reflect the Director of Engineering Physics' role and interests, and specifically Prof. Edward Auld. They underscore Engineering Physics' relationship to the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Faculty of Applied Science.
The first series consists of files that were collected and organized chronologically by Engineering Physics. Subsequent series include documentation regarding specific courses within Engineering Physics and documentation relating to the accreditation of Engineering Physics by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board during the 1990s and 2000s. There are 350 prints and 260 negatives included in the Photographs series, most of which were taken in the 1990s.

The collection consists of records generated by the Canadian Officers' Training Corps (UBC) and the 196th Western Universities Battalion. Except for the Daily Orders volumes and the Air Force's annual reports, the bulk of the remaining material relates to World War I and the UBC Roll of Service. The photographs and photo albums, the albums include memorabilia and photos, depict World War II and post-war activities.

The fonds consists of Board minutes 1913-1963 (8 reels of microfilm); minutes of open Board meetings, 1975-1994; records arising from the investigation and subsequent report of Judge Peter Lampman (1931-32); Alumni Development Fund records (1948-1949) in a scrapbook; correspondence and manuscript relating to the history of the university (1953-1961).

A large number of the files relate to the activities of the divisions, committees and teaching/research facilities of Health Sciences. Fonds consists of records documenting the programs and activities of the Radio Society / CiTR (including DISCORDER), including textual records and sound recordings of a variety of programs, radio plays, campus events, public service announcements, photographs of the radio studio and from different events, and advertisements produced by the Radio Society for broadcast on its station (CYVR/CiTR) or affiliated radio stations. In addition, the fonds includes recordings of interviews conducted on behalf of the Alma Mater society relating to its art collection. Fonds also consists of materials related to the administration of the radio station including information about licensing, executive meetings, policies, job descriptions, and staff training.

The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, financial records, course outlines and materials, papers submitted to the Medieval Workshop, and video recordings. The records reflect the Committee's involvement in devising an interdisciplinary course of study (1972-1977) for students interested in the medieval field, and the Committee's role in organizing the annual Medieval Workshop at UBC (1973-1979). The video recordings are from a series entitled Beyond the Memory of Man in which members of the Committee appeared.

The fonds consists of records which document William New's publications, lectures, and other activities between 1947 and 2018. Most of the series are based on published works written or edited by New. The remaining records relate to other projects, prizes, awards, papers, conferences, correspondence, or professional interests. Collectively, these records reflect New's various roles as professor, public speaker, editor, author, and poet.

Fonds consists of records generated by Helen Dahlstroms activities in her capacity as a pianist, accompanist, music teacher, choir conductor, examiner, adjudicator, and national, provincial and international arts and music boards. The records relate to personal and administrative daily activities concerning music and the arts, mainly in western Canada and to a lesser extent in the United States, England, France and Africa. The former includes information about Hayward including articles, CV, copies of publications and a list of his patents. The second series consists of material relating to the development of the Do-It-Yourself Chemistry program. It includes copies of newspaper columns, list of schools visited, samples of thank you letters from students, DIYC publications, photographs showing Hayward with students in various classrooms, and cassette recordings of his CFMI radio show and other interviews.

It consists of correspondence, reports, copies of articles, course materials, a journal, clippings, microfilms and photocopies of original manuscripts, written notes and other research materials, photographs, videocassettes, a set of index cards, and a metal seal bearing the logo of the Journal of Pre-Raphaelite & Aesthetic Studies. The collection consists of records from both the Council for Canadian Unity and the Task Force on Canadian Unity. Connaghan assembled this collection of correspondence, printed material and clippings, which date from 1975 to 1980.

The fonds consists of correspondence, subject files and pamphlets arising from Buck's various interests (1920-1950). Buck organized most of his papers into subject files relating to his activities and arranged them in alphabetical order. The files, in many instances, contain correspondence, reports and memos. The fonds also includes maps, plans, and posters, as well as photographs.

The fonds consists of correspondence with American war objectors between 1968 and 1976 wherein Elrod offered advice to those wishing to migrate to Canada. Fonds includes records of the North Shore Unitarian Church Social Action Committee.

Fonds consists of textual materials which document Wilhelm Maier's professional activities and interests, along with some related to his activites after his retirement. It includes technical manuals, journals and other publications, correspondence, technical diagrams, patent drawings, home workshop information, and correspondence school materials. Much of the material is written in German.

The collection consists of records relating to the establishment of International House at the University of British Columbia. The materials, generated between 1953 and 1955, provide background information about events leading up to the establishment of International House, particularly the negotiations with the Vancouver Rotary Club which donated $150,000 toward the project.

The fonds consists of Cyril Belshaw's personal and professional papers. Also included are annotated copies of Adaskin's two autobiographies: A Fiddler's World (published in 1977), and A Fiddler's Choice (1982). Some outside correspondence addressed to his wife Frances after his death is also included. The fonds consist of three series: Drafts and working papers directly related to the Royal Commission on Taxation, Drafts and working papers not directly connected to the Royal Commission on Taxation, Memorandums, correspondence and background information concerned with the Royal Commission and its Commissioners.

Fonds consists of 20 lab notebooks (1966-1970) containing notes from Caroline Astell’s Ph.D. studies. The notebooks include the results of her studies with Michael Smith in the area of oligonucleotides beginning about May 1968.
