The fonds consists of video recordings of various plays featured in the festival, photographs from some festival events and records pertaining to the administration of the festival. Administrative records take the form of promotional programs and posters, meeting minutes, agendas, memorandum, calendars, budgets, reports, newspaper clippings, notes, correspondence, handbooks, and some play scripts.

The fonds consist of correspondence and other records relating to the University Senate's activities, the President's Ad Hoc Committee on Sexual Harassment, the Faculty Association's Status of Women Committee, and the Historical Association (Vancouver Branch). There are also a limited number of records about the Academic Women's Association, the Archival Studies Committee, and several other University bodies and granting an honorary degree to Expo 86 commissioner Jimmy Pattison.

Fonds consists of worksheets prepared by students in the Department of Creative Writing. Each worksheet is essentially a small magazine, with poems and short stories by students and notices of interest. The frequency of the worksheets varies, as does their size (between 10 and 40 pages). They are filed according to their issue numbers within each year.

Fonds consists of correspondence, printed material, departmental minutes (1963-1988), committee records (1955-1974) and copies of department newsletters (1980-1984).

Fonds consists of textual and graphic material related to the activities of the Fuller siblings as traveling musicians, particularly during their American tour from 1913 to 1917, including correspondence, financial documents such as contracts and receipts, and photographs and drawings from their tours. Fonds also includes printed material such as programs and sheet music which the Fuller family had printed and sold.

Fonds illustrates Frank Charnley's career and interests as a mathematician, sheep rancher, beekeeper and writer, as well as records relating to his family, predominately from his retirement years. Photographs showcase Charnley at his Barnston Island home, presumably in the 1960s. The collection consists of documents, archival records, photographs, ephemera and artifacts related to three broad themes: British Columbia history, immigration and settlement and the Canadian Pacific Railway Company. Included are the archival fonds of the Yip family and Yip Sang Company, the Dart Coon Club and Chinese Freemasons of Victoria, Hugh G. Robinson (regarding the S.S. Greenhill Park Explosion), Rev. MacDonnell (regarding the Clandonald colony of Scottish immigrants in Alberta) and the British Columbia Coast Steamship Service. Includes documents, ephemera and artifacts of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, including records of travelers on CPR rail and steamships.

Fonds consists of research compiled by art historian and curator Patricia Ainslie. The research relates to both her published writing and her curatorial work at the Glenbow museum in Calgary, AB. Materials include research notes; photocopies of articles and images; correspondence with artists, other curators, and archival institutions; planning documents and lists; photographs of artists and artwork; interviews on audio cassette, DVD, and as transcripts; manuscripts for some of her published work; and exhibition pamphlets.

The fonds consists of material relating to the work and collections of Robert Reid. It includes a collection of fine printwork from a variety of presses, examples of printed material at various stages in the publication process, and research and reference material relating to design and printing.

Also included in the fonds are biographical material, correspondence to and from Reid, financial records, speeches, notes, clippings, and photographs. The content of this material relates to both the personal and professional life of Reid and spans from the the 1930s to the 2000s.

Fonds consists primarily of correspondence, published materials, and other documentation related to Potrebenko's writing career and publications. Also included are materials she accumulated in relation to her involvement with local labour activism.

The fonds consists of sixty-six letters from Ethel Wilson to Alan and Jean Crawley relating to her literary career and social activities.

The fonds consists of five scrapbooks which include correspondence, poetry and clippings. Incoming letters (1921-64) thank Murison for her gifts of poetry and also include some poetry. Some of the clippings pertain to her poetry while others relate to pesticide control (ca. 1965).

The fonds consists of literary correspondence, drafts of literary work, published books and articles, reviews of Drabek’s work, printed material accumulated for research purposes, a small amount of personal correspondence and family papers and some newspaper photographs of Drabek.

There is a series comprising material Drabek created through his administrative role as a representative to the Writers’ Union of Canada, BC Caucus and as President of the Federation of BC Writers, in addition to his work as a writer. It contains minutes of meeting, correspondence, newsletters, and other material.

The fonds consists of academic materials and writings, prose, poetry, incoming and outgoing correspondence with family, especially his mother, Viola Fraser (nee Huggan), friends and co-workers; colour and black & white photographs portraying a variety of subjects; posters, notebooks, printed materials such as newspaper clippings and serials, and a variety of other ephemera created and/or collected and/or used by Fraser in Vancouver.

Fonds consists of documents related to Stacey's career as a fisherman, historian, writer, researcher, curator, and consultant. Materials include correspondence, photographs, recorded interviews, reports, handwritten notes, clippings, research materials, prints, postcards, ephemera and other documents.

The "Gulf of Georgia files" series was arranged by the records creator and has been respected. All other series have been imposed by the archivist and arranged according to materials that relate to Stacey's roles as expert witness in various trials, historical and industrial researcher, collector and curator, and commercial fisherman, respectively. Where correspondence and photographs were stored separately by the records creator, they have been retained together in series according to their document type; otherwise, file integrity has been respected and these materials may be found in other series as well.

A significant amount of material, consisting primarily of copies of photographs obtained by Stacey from various archival institutions, has been removed.

The fonds consists primarily of information about Audrey Brown's grandfather, James Miller Brown (1830-1926). Included is a thirteen-page typed reminiscence about James Miller Brown, as well as an envelope with poetry written on it.

The fonds consists of handwritten notes, typescripts of poetry by Mackay, a notebook with clippings and correspondence.

Records pertain largely to Youngs acquisition and use of his British Columbia mineral claims during the early 1950s through to the early 1960s. Claims that Young acquired located near Lillooet, and were called the Anita, Sunrise and Margaret mineral claims. Claims acquired near Kamloops, and were called the Speed, Puzzle, and Last Chance mineral claims, and consisted of sodium carbonate and magnesium sulphate lakes. The records consist largely of correspondence, particularly between Young and Gilbert Spears and Young and those who sold him the mineral claims, but also with lawyers and potential clients such as pharmaceutical companies, timber plants, salt plants, and rubber plants. Records also include contracts and other legal documents. Eight photographs are contained in the file regarding the acquisition of the Basque salt lakes.
A small amount of records pertain to the production of a Christmas film in 1952 called Bethlehem, designed by an associate of Youngs. Young and his associate hoped to sell the filmstrip to the National Film Board with the potential for creating future films for them, and the images to a card company with the aim of making Christmas cards from them. Records consist of correspondence and a script.
The fonds is arranged into two series: Mineral Claims series, and Filmstrip series. The Mineral Claims series contains 6 files: Basque lakes, 1951-1952; Business correspondence, 1951-1953; Reports and contracts, 1952-1956; Spears Correspondence, 1958-1959; Business and Spears Correspondence, 1958-1959; Business and Spears Correspondence, 1958-1961. The Filmstrip series contains one file.

The fonds consists of diaries, photographs, and correspondence of Janet Jenkins. The photographs parallel the diaries and correspondence in documenting her life. Also included is a postscript to the diaries written by her husband, Trevor Jenkins in 1991.

The fonds consists of business correspondence (1927-1943), legal documents, a playbill and the script for "Left Turn", a handwritten article on Western Canadian Universities for the Canadian Forum (1930), and assorted clippings. It also includes five scrapbooks.

The fonds consists of 141 letters written by 83 Canadian authors who received letters from the school requesting their books, a photograph, and a letter relating to their literary career. The photographs, with two exceptions, were not retained with letters and the books were placed in the school library; but the letters, many with their envelopes addressed to Miss Margaret Cowie, were passed by Margaret Cowie to a friend and eventually donated to the UBC Library. The correspondents include Marius Barbeau, Frank Burnett, Bliss Carman, Mazo de la Roche, Francis Dickie, Hubert Evans, Nellie McClung, L.M. Montgomery Macdonald, Isabel E. MacKay, Charles Mair, Emily Murphy, Charles G.D. Roberts, Constance Skinner, Robert Stead, and A.M. Stephen. Most of the letters were written between 1925 and 1928.

The fonds contains correspondence, notebooks, and other literary manuscripts of many of the authors represented in the Colbeck Book Collection. The fonds also contains records generated by Colbeck, through his activities as a book dealer and collector, and in the process of cataloguing his collection for UBC. Finally, the fonds contains records created by the Librarian in charge of the Colbeck collection, generated in the process of cataloguing and maintaining that collection. The fonds is arranged in three series based on units that have been amalgamated into the current collection: Manuscript collection ([18--]-1914); Book and manuscript collecting records ([19--]-1988); and Colbeck Book Collection and Colbeck Librarian records (1968-1988).

The McLennan family materials includes a series reflecting William McLennan’s writing career, personal interests, and family life. William McLennan’s materials include full and partial drafts of published and unpublished works; research and reference materials; incoming and outgoing correspondence; legal and official documents; collected historical materials and documents; notes; sketches; journals; newspaper clippings and ephemera; photographs; and other materials.

The fonds also consists of a series reflecting Frederick Griffin’s occupation as a lawyer and his role as founder of the Canadian Loan Company. Frederick Griffin’s materials include incoming correspondence and draft responses; various financial and legal documents; legal research notes and drafts of legal documents; memoranda; meeting minutes; land and property documents and surveyors reports; newspaper clippings and ephemera; and other documents.

Finally, the fonds contains a series consisting of William Durie McLennan’s records, which were primarily created between 1914 and 1915 and pertain to his military service during the First World War. Record types in this series include the following: a handwritten, personal notebook; a typescript of this notebook; correspondence; service records from the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Forces; news clippings; black and white photographs; collected signatures from Canadian dignitaries; and materials from the 5th Battery Association of 1914.

The fonds consists of records related to Zeljko Kujundzic’s role as an artist as well as his role as an educator. There are also records related to his personal life. The fonds consists of three series: artist records; teaching and professional records; and personal and administrative records.

Records relating to the first series, Kujundzic’s artist records are divided into two subseries: artwork and projects, and exhibitions and publicity. The artwork and projects subseries contains records related to the production of his artwork, including drafts, studio works, sketchbooks, writings, poetry, and research and inspiration materials. It also includes several pieces of Kujundzic’s artistic media, such as his metal moulds and woodblock prints. The subseries exhibitions and publicity consists of records relating to Kujundzic’s public appearances and the exhibitions and galleries he was part of. It includes magazine articles, newspaper and press clippings, artwork commissions, posters and pamphlets, and photocopies of articles about Kujundzic and his art.

Records in the series teaching and professional records relate to his role as a professor and as a member and director of arts societies. This series is divided into three subseries: Kootenay School of Arts, Pennsylvania State University, and Professional affiliations. The series Kootenay School of Arts contains records of Kujundzic’s time as a teacher in the Okanagan, B.C., and records relating to the Art Centre in Kelowna. The subseries Pennsylvania State University contains records related to his time spent with the Arts Department of PSU and consists of teaching, lecture and workshop materials, correspondence between faculty, and records relating to his role as a professor. Professional Affiliations subseries contains records relating to the associations and societies he was part of and some that he founded, including the Sculptors’ Society of British Columbia and the Contemporary Okanagan Artists.

Records in the personal and administrative records series includes personal correspondence made and received by Kujundzic, photographs, family and biographical records, CVs, applications, and immigration and travel documents.

Material Includes a typescript copy of notes for speech given at the Vancouver Rotary Club (1956) entitled “Vancouver in Relation to the Arts.”
