Captain Staples and others, owners of the steamship Pacific, are justly and truly indebted to the Plaintiff for 53 pounds, 8 shillings, for the value of certain articles delivered to the Defendants as common carriers to be delivered to him in Victoria. They have not been delivered and the Plaintiff believes that the Defendants are about to leave for San Francisco and he asks that they be apprehended.
